When we were in the Keys, we walked everywhere and we were constantly hungry (I guess all that walking kept us wanted more food). So, one night, kind of late - we were walking around Southard Street and needed food stat. Our eyes searching the street for something delicious, but easy to eat (we were also tired from the day) and then we see the pizza sign and we knew that was what we wanted. This is not a sit down place inside or out. They only have a few high tops outside...
The personalities here win me over and the cheesesteak slapped harder than your mom. I hope this place is open late because they are the cure for any dehydrated tourist losing their balance. Such a good sandwich, great group of guys, and plenty of Philadelphia charm crammed into a tight space. Seating inside is limited but they do have some outside spaces when the weather decides to behave.
When it’s late in Key West and I’m craving a good slice, Mr. Z’s is always my spot! The pizza is fresh, cheesy, and hits the spot every single time. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming—exactly what you want after a night out. Whether it’s a quick slice or a whole pie, they never disappoint. Definitely my go-to late-night pizza joint! 🍕🌙
