Famished after a lengthy drive to Key West, we found this hole in the wall cafe for lunch. Street parkings were available around the cafe. While we waited for our order of Cuban Mix sandwich, steak quesadillas and tamarind Jarritos, we were greeted and entertained by couple cafe pet chickens. I preferred the Cuban Mix sandwich (4/5) over the steak quesadillas (3.5/5, slightly greasy but good flavor). Overall, not the best Cuban sandwich on the Florida Keys, but very solid food for Key West and price point seems reasonable for the more touristy areas.

Located in Key West with a very hole in the wall feel and a no nonsense Cuban/ Mexican spot. For Key West, the prices aren't bad but I'm not the biggest fan of social media spots, which this is apparently one of. Parking is only accessible with street parking on the nearby streets. We got the steak quesadilla at $14 and the Cuban mix sandwich at $12 and a tamarind Jarritos at $3. The quesadilla was slightly greasy but a fine meal if you're hungry. The Cuban was decent but not the best one I've had today on the Keys.Is this a decent hole in the wall spot for locals at a reasonable price for the main island? Yes.Will it blow your socks off? Probably not.

The food was 12/10 amazing. I got tacos and my husband got a burrito. Don't let the grimy ambiance fool you, the food is better than the walk up window promises. If you're looking for a fancy sit down restaurant this is not the place. This is more like a street vendor that sells amazing food and back behind the window where you order is a cute little tiki bar like area where you can sit. The prices were super reasonable too.

Really good quesadilla! My fiancé and I both loved them when we were hungry before our flight home. Will have to visit it again!

We were staying nearby and were driving by and on a whim decided to try lunch here. It certainly looks like a "hole in the wall" restaurant and I was skeptical. I am so glad we gave it a shot! It was delicious!! I had fish tacos and they were fantastic! Not much seating available, but certainly worth stopping in!

Coffee was yum chefs kiss!!!Now you must try the "picante" which is their hot sauce ... they need to bottle that and sell it!!!

We moved from the west coast and while the Cuban food is plentiful and amazing, the Mexican food on the island is sorely lacking….until now. This our favorite little place for when we’re craving some taquerilla style eats. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. A little gem that we locals love. A+

Great ice coffee! Perfect to grab for the road on the way back to Miami. Coffee taste is a little strong roasted.

Loved the colada that I ordered and I was so happy that they had croquetas! They were so delicious! Service was kind, friendly, and fast. Would definitely come here again next time I'm in the Keys!

This hidden gem is the definition of never judge a book by a book by it's cover. We ate breakfast here every morning of our stay and it couldn't have been better. Made fresh and quick and delicious. Huge Menu reasonable prices and super friendly folks. Located at 1st and Flagler near our stay at Atlantic Suites. You will not be disappointed.
