Great local spot in Key West. Luke was great and gave good recommendations on food. I had snapper with potatoes and asparagus. One of the oldest restaurants on the island. Great vibe overall.

Out of the 6 dinners we had in KW, Pepes was our clear favorite. Unpretentious, friendly, quick, fresh and fish so tasty we're still talking about it. We sat at one of the hightops in the bar area. Luke ran the section and we followed all of his great recommendations; pepes style snapper and blackened snapper with a slab of keylime pie that was supposed to be eaten in the morning. If you look at this place from a certain angle, while trying to avoid the Gulf Coast sun from blinding you, it almost looks like it is closed.
It wasn't until we got really close to it that we realized that it was fully functional. As we got closer, a friendly voice welcomed us in and directed us to the bar.
Once we got there, Katie Mae simply knocked our socks off with her sense of humor, conversation, and knowledge of the island.
