The poke dishes are amazing. I love coming here. Not to mention, the wine shop is sublime, too. This place is my favorite dine in place in Lockhart.

Overall experience is a 2 because it's a nightmare to find. They give zero explanation of where the restaurant is, with no signage. Spent 20 minutes circling around trying to find it.

Food is average. I've had better poke, I've had worse, so I gave it a 3.

Atmosphere inside the store is great (it's actually really cute, and the concept is cool!), so I gave it a 5.

For a small place in a small town this place punches well above its weight.
The selections are diverse and the quality is great. Also it’s in a really cool little wine shop so you can drink something tasty while you’re there or buy something to take with you. Highly recommend.

I had never had Poké before! I had the “Poké’s On Fire” bowl and it came out in a beautiful presentation with the seaweed salad and eatable glitter on the side. It was fresh and delicious and now I’m hooked. I am definitely coming back.

A handful of my gal pals and I make it a point to go to the Best Little Wine and Books shop in Lockhart once a month. And now that Poke in the Rear is there, it adds to the pleasure. The food is fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced for what you're served. Add to that, Kaye Askins can pair a wonderful libation to go with any dish. Perfection.

This place came highly recommended so decided to give it a try. It's a little hidden and tucked away behind a building on Duval street, with a sign pointing to an alleyway that leads to an outdoor seating area. You place your order at the window counter and when your order is ready, your name is called. I had Elle's Poke's On Fire and it was FIRE! Fresh ingredients and perfect portions.

Okay ill tell ya. Food was really good. However, the dude cuzi or something was just absolutely bothered by us period. We walked bc i had this specific spot chosen bc of all the great food reviews. Cuzi was rude from the get go.i went to inquire about the bowl i wanted and NOPE before i could get it out of my mouth he said loudly"nope outta that" let me mention when me and my husband got there it was wide open, the girl explained that they were having an event later that evening. So after we ordered Cuzi walks away while i was still trying to finish my order. We wanted to add the flat bread pizza thing, so i opened the back door to his kitchen area and said" ill add the flat bread too please" he said " please dont open my door" to to which i replied" im sorry i was just letting you know"If you, the owner is reading this, ill tell you this, i manage a restaurant in ga 23 years and i wouldnt hire cuzi for anything. Rude, and bothered. Nah man, if my money and my busimess makes anyone feel that way, im not coming back. But the bowls were good. We are here till Friday. The Bowies
