We ate at Red Shoe Island Bistro our last night in Key West. We realized that this was going to be a special experience when the restaurant team came outside and called us in to our table individually for the first seating of the night. We were seated and promptly approached by our waiter. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff and my husband ordered the Catch of the Day (Grouper) with Key West pink shrimp. Both of our meals were outstanding! For dessert we had their award winning Key Lime pie. We feel so lucky that we found Red Shoe Island Bistro. This is the kind of place you HOPE to find on vacation that will stay with you for a long time after you return home.

Dined here recently from the midwest with my wife and four children (12 to 19) and we were having fun trying as much as we could to experience as much as we could. The flavors and dishes did not disappoint. Fantastic food including dessert in a casual chic setting with friendly and prompt service. My family loved it. We were hoping to meet the owner as he was making his rounds but he never stopped by. David Bowie theme was fun but too bad the boom box in the bathroom didn't want to play any tapes like Marky Mark. Would definitely go back.

Food overall is very good. Lobster profiteroles were not good. They were very tiny and soggy. The tomatoes burrata were outstanding. The beef stroganoff was flavorful and delicious. Service is excellent! Tables are close to one another so be prepared to engage in conversation. No liquor but they do serve beer and wine.

First time trying Red Shoe Island Bistro while in Key West and it won't be our last! Chris was our server and he was fantastic, really made the evening more enjoyable. We started with the deviled eggs and shrimp toast, wow! Would go back just to get those items again. The snapper and the fish of the day were also great. Finished off the meal with the lavender cheesecake, incredible. Overall wonderful way to spend our birthdays in Key West. We will be back!

Appetizer was underwhelming but salad and main course were superb. I also noted that when the table next to us was not happy with their dish they offered a substitute or to take it off the bill. The owner made the rounds and spoke to the patrons at the 1800 seating We would return and recommend th I s wonderful restaraunt.

My wife had the fish of the day (black grouper) and I had the yellowtail. Both dishes were excellent. The wine list is extensive with many and choices at reasonable prices. Service is top notch. This was our first visit to Red Shoe Island Bistro but as regular visitors to Key West we will certainly be back. Highly recommended!
