Locals. Eaten at Salute frequently. We asked for a table for two tonight and clueless hostess took us to a table where 4 other people would be seated at what she laughingly called “the party table”. When we asked about three other tables in the half full restaurant, she replied that all the other tables were reserved for later. Smart way to accommodate locals. We voted with our feet and left. Found a table for two easily somewhere else. Will try again in a month. Maybe it will be different.

We didn't have a good time. The gentleman at the entrance nice and very kind but the waitress did not. It did not help us in anything, grumpy and so we were not happy with our dishes because they were too elaborate. The pasta then.... A mega soup with unqualified taste. A firm no for us

We recently had a small wedding reception here! I was skeptical due to the pictures/atmosphere i was seeing on Google. But wow! The food was absolutely wonderful! Everyone complimented the food the entire time and hardly any conversation was had because people were too busy enjoying their food! There is also a large variety of foods, allowing anyone to find something they like. The employees were amazing! I cannot compliment them enough!!! I had to hug our waitress because she went above and beyond. The place was so beautiful! It was dark outside when we got there so I didnt see much of the ocean but from what I could see that was also gorgeous. I will recommend this place all the time and will make it our number 1 spot from here on out when we visit.

We went tonight for dinner with on a recommendation from someone local. I had the fettuccine Alfredo With prosciutto The Alfedo sauce was watery like milk and the prosciutto was cooked like burnt bacon on top. It has no taste whatsoever. After 2 bites I ate the bread. Waitress asked how was everything and I told her what my issue was with the full plate left. She gave no response at all took my plate and brought me a bill for $26.99 for a plate of food not eaten. There were 3 others eating also and they all has the nightly specials and the other 3 said they would never return or recommend this restaurant

It’s a true casual beachside seafood restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. The device was great. We even got the recipe for the salad dressing it was so delicious! It’s hard to choose what was better, the grouper shrimp cakes or the yellow snapper sandwich. Oh that’s right it was the key lime pie!!

The food was amazing. We ordered the muscles in the white sauce it was to die for! The fresh fish was so yummy and tender the sauces on both of our fish dishes were amazing! The food made me dance. It was so delicious and filling, I had the yellow snapper and my husband had the grouper. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxing and romantic we sat pretty much on the beach. This is our favorite restaurant in Key West hands down!
