We were excited about this place because of the fish and mango salsa, but this place sucks, the servers the worse they didn’t want to serve us cos we are Spanish, finally one server from Haiti came to our table after an hour waiting, the food came incomplete and the fish was horrible very dry and for sure wasn’t fresh,,, and guess what the mango salsa never came. I don’t recommend this place at all!!

I have been a patron at The Schooner for almost 20 years. This trip has by far been disappointing here. The service is in the toilet. On our first day here we had to continuously flag down the waitress for a refill despite her walking by us, clearly empty drinks on the table.
Then on Sunday we tried to sit at the bar which reeked of garbage and vomit. We closed our bar tab and sat a table. Or waiter was so trashed he had to return 3 times just to get our first drink order to us. The second time, he didn’t even remember he took our order.
I was so saddened by how my weekend went at one of my most favorite bars in the world.
I plan to return and hope this finds a manager to help improve what used to be a sensational place to hang.
Excellent food and great atmosphere! Wait staff was friendly, prompt with our beverages, and food was served quickly, even though they were very busy. The live music was awesome, engaging with patrons. Nick Brownell (musician) is always entertaining! Never disappointed at Schooners!
