The seafood is literally brought from the boats and on your dinner plate in hours!!Wheelchair accessibility: The Schooner is an outdoor restaurant with no clear paths between tables. You kinda have to wind your way around tables, chairs, guests and servers. There are a few tables on the fringe of the 'dining' area where a wheelchair can be pulled up to a table. The pathways and floor is a mix of pea gravel and shells.

We come here all of the time. Location and food is pretty good, but our server Ryan was awesome. Our last few servers have been cranky. If you go, ask for Ryan.

We had the pink peel and eat shrimp and the tuna nachos. Amazing! Our waitress Jackie a true conch and made us feel right at home. Love the atmosphere.

The music was fantastic, and the setting is wonderful. The drinks were a little strong for me, I may be a light weight. Our server was fantastic, she was even in a boot, but really downplaying it, making sure we were taken care of. She did a great job, and I really appreciate her, because I feel like we were accidentally annoying. Food was good, fresh, and exactly what you’re paying for. You want comfortable, solid food? This is the place to go. Fancy food? Probably go somewhere else. But I enjoyed my time, and so did my family. Thanks for a great afternoon, and thank you for making my first vacation since 2018 so special. I really appreciate it. I wish I could remember my server’s name to give her a shout out, hopefully this makes it to her. You’re really sweet and I hope you have the best year ever.

We loved our waitress! However make sure to only speak to your waitress at the restaurant because if you speak to the wrong one you’ll be stared at like you’ve committed a crime. The waitress serving the tables next to ours was incredibly rude. We innocently asked her for the check and she stared at us like we had 17 heads. After a minute of awkward silence from this waitress, we apologized profusely for our grave error. We didn’t realize she only worked for her tables and had no idea there were other tables in the world. Honestly she’s a terrible asset and if the company would like to know who acted this rudely to innocent paying customers then please reach out. Honestly great experience besides this terrible person.

Didn't get a chance to visit a few years back, but so glad we did this time around. The atmosphere is a perfect backyard party with live music and a nice cigar stand rolled by locals. No photos of all that, unfortunately, but did take a photo of the delicious food: Nacho Bean Dip - definitely get this over the order of Chips and Salsa - plenty portion, and the seasoning on the tortilla chips are tasty; and Jerk Chicken Sandwich with a side (I chose their slaw - fresh and not too watery or overly heavy on the sauce) - jerk seasoning wasn't too overwhelming, and the sauce on the side is reminiscent of Chick-fil-A sauce but less "saucy" or tangy. Overall, this spot is definitely a must to stop by if you're in town. Found it cool that if you catch a fish (or maybe other seafood at sea), you can have them cook it for you. Didn't see anyone do so but still a nice idea.

Pretty lame place. Table was dirty, expected it to be cleaned, wrong. Everything served on carnival plastic and cheap paper plates. Food, marginal red snapper overly broiled and very dry. $ muy cara. Coming back... no.

Our first night in Key West, We stopped in at Schooner Wharf Bar. They had a live band playing music. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. The food was good. The Cajun fish wrap was very good. The fries were hot and crispy. The beverages were cold and refreshing. The food was solid. My only comment was that the live music was very loud. That aside, it was good.

We loved the atmosphere here! Great people and the service was fast and friendly. If Nick Brawnell is playing you definitely want to go! What an amazing voice and talent. The food was a bit on the skimpy side but still tasted good.

Great little place. Very unpretentious with a laid back local bar feel. The wait staff was great and served our party of 30.... I was impressed! The beer was cold, and the sandwiches/burgers were great!
