Great service and atmosphere. Dinner was excellent. Mahi mahi appetizer was our favorite. Didn't have any fresh lobster, but steak was good.

Stopped in after 8 on a Thursday hoping to get a drink and bite at the bar. It was packed with a fun combination of locals and visitors and the host went out of his way to ensure we had drinks and watched over us until two seats opened up. Then we met Eric, who continued to provide the best service in town and did his best to make sure everyone at the bar knew each other. We shared a flavorful mushroom quesadilla and Caesar salad with mahi. The mahi mahi was so beautifully prepared it flaked apart with a fork, and the dressing was much lighter than the creamy version too many restaurants serve these days. Even with the wait at the beginning (get those reservations in!), it was a leisurely hour and a half of good food and wonderful company.

Fresh seafood, however the atmosphere is a bit sterile for my liking.

Great food and service. Would definitely return on my next trip!
Fresh seafood with top notch gourmet preparation and presentation. We were pleasantly surprised to enjoy this out of the way recommendation from our resort concierge. We enjoyed a wide selection of seafood prepared in unique ways across a number of courses. Our server was pleasant if just a bit inattentive but the restaurant was full for our entire stay so they may have just been understaffed. Judging by the smiles and empty plates at tables around us it seemed everyone was well enjoying their meals as well. Good mix of young and middle aged couples as well as younger folks starting their nights out with appetizers and drinks from a great cocktail collection. Our middle school aged children really enjoyed the selection as well.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for GF
This place was hit and miss for us. Underwhelmed by: reception, our drinks (Rum and Coke and a watermelon martini), and the shrimp cocktail appetizer. The gnocchi was also nothing to write home about. (We're from the Philly area where we can get very authentic Italian food.) We liked: the banana chicken (this was very good) and the bread that accompanied our meals. Ambience was nice. Service: friendly enough but not that sharp. Overall, a mediocre experience at a premium price. We would likely not return.

Seven Fish is, without a doubt, the best place to dine in Key West. Carl and Eric have superb Customer SERVICE. You will not be disappointed with their excellent service and their amazing food. Love ❤️ this place.
We were seated promptly. Our servers were knowledgeable and friendly. The bar service is excellent. We dine at 7 fish whenever we are in Key West and have always been well pleased with our meals. The presentation and preparation are unique and tasty. The deserts are very good. We look forward to our next visit to Key West and 7 Fish.

Lots of flavor in their dishes. Nothing is ordinary here. Only extraordinary! We had the crab cake. Ask for some bread to sop up the sauce after you finish the delightful crab cake. Next up the tuna... the tuna was marinated in nice long chunks. We gobbled those up. Dinner was a treat. Blue cheese infused mahi mahi and mushroom gnocchi. It wasn't overwhelming but exquisitely dosed to leave the delish flavor lingering in our mouths. Sprinkle with a pinch of chili flake for extra dimension. Quite possibly the best blue cheese gnocchi ever. Bryan has the seafood marinara which was wonderful too. Their bread is focaccia and it is wonderful. They won a Zagat award deservingly so! Highly recommend! Fab romantic couple spot.

Went to Seven Fish ten years ago during my last visit to Key West. It has since moved into a larger space on one of the main drags. (I think the smaller space was better but then again if it was still there we might not have been able to get in.) Had the house specialty (Yellow Curry Snapper) which was excellent. Meatloaf and Seaford Marinara pasta dishes were also a hit with our group. Service was friendly and well timed.
