Small Chef At Large Catering

Fantastic food and experience! We hired Small Chef at Large as a Private Chef for our party of 6 who were visiting Key West to celebrate a special birthday. Jennifer and her team made it a special evening. She worked with me to create a special menu comprising of delicious seafood appetizers followed by an authentic Cuban Meal. For dessert we were treated to her “signature” Key Lime pie. It was all fantastic. Communication and service was the best. Thank you for making the evening a memorable one!

We had a 50th birthday dinner catered for 18 with multiple Gluten free guests. Small Chef at Large was able to accommodate those restrictions and made us a wonderful meal! They even used a local bakery to provide a gluten free cake, complete with candles. We couldn’t have asked for a better dinner!

Small Chef at Large Catering has been a part of our Award Winning Festival for years. This year Jennifer knocked it out of the park with her pairing of Spanish Sherry and authentic Spanish food! Our favorite was the Burnt Basque Cheesecake.

I cannot express how absolutely amazing Cookie and her team were. We had her do a private dinner for my 50th birthday in Key West with a bunch of close friends! The food, beverages and service were impeccable! Everything from the set up of the space, to the apps, to the entree was so professional and the food was incredible! I would, with great enthusiasm, encourage you to give Cookie a call, she and her team will curate something absolutely one of a kind and special. My family hired Jennifer for 2 dinners on back to back nights in Jan 2024 in Key West. Jennifer was timely communicative, detailed, and helpful with advice on menu planning. She arrived on time both evenings with an assistant named Cindy. Both Jennifer and Cindy were a joy to be around - well mannered, professional, and just good kind people. And the food, presentation and taste, was fantastic! I'd recommend to family and friends and hope to see her again myself. Job well done - thank you Jennifer and Cindy :)

Used Jennifer for Thanksgiving dinner this past week and WOW! Everything was absolutely delicious. Not to mention she came and did a beautiful set up with fresh flowers. I highly suggest ordered the pecan cheesecake for dessert. Was the best cheesecake we’ve ever had! I would highly recommend Jennifer and we will be sure to use her on our next trip down to Key West!!

Delicious food that is also gorgeous. Living on an island, I appreciate Jen’s creative heat and eat meals. From delectable chicken pot pie to almond crusted snapper, everything is fresh and yummy.

Chef Jenn and her crew is the Best in Key West! I have worked with her on various events. 30 people to a small brunch. She is responsive, on time, very communicative, CREATIVE and will make your event a success of any size. I cannot say enough nice things. She has wonderful contacts as well if you are not from Key West. Last but not least the FOOD, everyone loves it and it is on point Delicious.

Chef Jennifer aka “Cookie” rocks! She managed our private catering needs throughout the week for a party of seven aboard the Bella Magio. Meals were creative and delicious. The only negative, I am cooking for myself now!
