The sushi is a notch below mediocre. They claim “Maine” Lobster all over the menu but it’s not. It’s the Florida lobster or a version of it. All the fish is from china and Japan. I wouldn’t go back. My sushi rice was dry and just ok.

Why 4.4 stars???? I don’t get it. First, the food. It’s legit the star of the show. I’ve had the spicy tuna roll (amazing), the miso soup (but not the basic miso, the one with shrimp and fish and other accoutrements), the $3.00 green tea which comes in a rather large carafe pitcher that is by far the best deal on this island for ANY beverage, the (and my absolute favorite) house salad with Japanese dressing which is a wasabi dressing - way better than any ginger dressing I’ve had, the Spicy Tuna hand roll that comes dressed with sriracha, and lastly, this restaurant uses real ginger. Not the “virgin” ginger dyed pink that most restaurants use that isn’t the real deal. The pink ginger is cheap, an imitation, and this place uses the real stuff. It’s got a bigger bite, it’s healthier and just know it still doesn’t compare to the wasabi salad dressing. I drank the rest of my salad bowl… seriously!!!!! And then there’s the amazing service and the amazing music. The beats are always thumping and the bathrooms are clean. Love this place!

Simply stated, I had the worst sashimi I’ve ever eaten at this restaurant. Starting off, the presentation was very poor, the “ahi”had not been fully sliced and required pulling the pieces apart. The yellowtail, if that’s what was, also required surgery before I could take a bite. Both types of fish left an odd, almost rancid taste in my mouth that no amount of soy and wasabi could overcome. After trying a piece of both fish I realized that the fish was unfit for consumption, probably due to improper storage temperature, or simply, the fish was past its time. I had to ask the waitress to take the plate away, embarrassing both myself and the waitress. I have eaten sashimi in many parts of the world, and up until today, had never experienced such a feeling of disappointment and disillusion. If I could rank this restaurant with minus stars for food, I would.

absolutely amazing.. we had J as our server and she was so sweet and attentive.. the filet mignon fried rice, the surf and turf fried rice were our favorites. this location is always so good & open super late. a great late night snack or dinner or to go! we look forward to coming here every time we come to key west.

I got to eat a solid Ramen while trying sushi for the first time. I was not expecting to enjoy ramen at the sushi place but that is what happens when you put effort into everything you cook. Solid Vibe, amazing food; what could a man want?

Absolutely the best sushi we have ever had! My fiancé and I are huge lovers of sushi and this place we just had to try. The atmosphere is great, along with the food. Staff was great very friendly. We got 4 different rolls, crab ragoon, two alcoholic drinks, a diet cola, and Ramen to go. The bill was way cheaper than we had expected but we aren’t complaining. I had two of the lemon drop saketini, very much recommend this drink. I can’t say anything bad about this experience, you must go and try it you won’t be disappointed.
