Looks like a Starbucks counter but breakfast options are pretty good.

We were looking for a hotel in Key West for 2 nights while on a road trip. Not being familiar with the area, I wasn’t sure which hotel to choose that fit our budget snd was still close enough to sightsee. This hotel had pros and cons. Besides the lower price, we liked the pool area with a small tiki bar which served lunch items for sale snd drinks in the later afternoon. The hotel had a bistro inside set up like a Starbucks with a fairly nice breakfast selection made to order- our breakfast was $38 (breakfast burrito, eggs made to order, orange juice). You can order to eat in or to go. We took ours outside to the little beach area in back of the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, which was another positive. This hotel is situated on the very busy main road which leads to the sightseeing places in Key West. We were fortunate in getting a room facing the pool and didn’t hear too much traffic, except the occasional siren. There is no elevator so I was also glad we had a 2nd story room vs a 3rd story one. The hotel did a good job of landscaping to make you feel like you’re not on a main busy road and the drive into Key West was 7 minutes. Our overall stay was a positive one.

... with a nice pool and a tiki bar next to it. Lots of natural wildlife skittering around - lizards, etc. (keep your doors closed!). We had booked a 2Q room and unknowingly got upgraded to a 2Q Suite - which meant the bedroom/bathroom was on the 2nd floor and the living room (and *full* kitchen was on the 1st floor (separated by a spiral staircase)). No problem parking the car at night (we only had a car one night); we used an Uber the rest of the time. Walgreens is walking distance if you need something there and Five Guys burgers is also real close if you need a late night snack. My only issue was with breakfast the morning we left. For $38 for two people I expected better - not more food - just better food and more attention by the gentleman running the area. I mentioned my disappointment at checkout and I got some Marriott points but i would have rather had a good breakfast.

Our visit to Key West was a last minute plan. We were thrilled with the great accommodations and super friendly staff. Check in was quick and painless, check out was even faster. Plenty of parking, beautiful pool. Our room was facing the pool and when the door was closed you could not hear a sound from the courtyard.

Friendly staff and facilities. We were staying at the Marriott in Fort Lauderdale for a week and decided to drive down the Key West for an overnight trip. When we arrived, the receptionist offered us water and was very cordial. The grounds, trees, plants, and flowers around the pool were beautiful and well-kept. The room was fine, and it we got a great price compared to the hotels in town. We will be back.

Great location and the staff are great. We stayed in building B on the upper floor, overlooking the pool. Seems like the rooms are newly renovated and beds were very comfortable. The major issue we had though is that the walls are paper thin. We could hear every word from next room and listened to their tv early in the morning.

We are regular customers at CY-KW and have always had an awesome time there. Staff is absolutely the best in the business. The hotel is always well staffed, very clean and everything we need is operational. The grounds are beautiful with lush gardens and vines all over the place, well-kept palm trees and a boardwalk that extends several hundred feet off the rear of the hotel into the Gulf of Mexico and runs to the back side of the property. You can see most sunset’s right from this boardwalk. Who needs the crowds and heat of Mallory Square! Michael and Meagan run a tremendous operation and are supported by numerous great staff members from Kiss and Karin at the front desk, to Dianna and her two assistants in the Bistro and dining room to Ken and Jeff at the Tikki bar to Franswa, our housekeeper for most of the stay to Shaun in engineering, this staff is tremendous and always has been. What's even more impressive is the fact that most of these folks have been at this hotel long term which is unusual in this kind of business in Key West. Management and ownership obviously know how to treat and retain their guests AND their staff and again, this is most notable. To those on staffed that I missed naming here, my apologies. Kudos and many thanks to all of you! Beautiful hotel on the Gulf with a very caring and professional staff. All the amenities one could ask for and within walking distance of over 20 restaurants of all kinds and tastes.

We asked for a water view room and after some negotiation we got a room on the first floor (there are no elevators) facing the water with a patio. What that really means is a tiny square of concrete outside the back door, some shrubs, then the parking lot. After the parking lot is a wooden walkway by the water. There was only a view of the cars. To be fair, I’m sure if we’d chosen the upper floor there would have been a decent view of the water. Further, our room was at the end of the hall, next to the door used by most guests to access the hotel on our floor. There was no quiet way to close that door So we heard it late at night and all morning. If it wasn’t guests, it was cleaning and maintenance people coming in and out and talking on the radio. Not much chance to sleep in. The room and bed were comfortable and the staff were lovely, but the whole bottom floor are NOT water view rooms so don’t pay extra for that. And stay back from the outside doors.

Stayed for a business trip in late August. Staff and hotel management was very accommodating to our needs. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool area, with tiki bar was top notch. Special shout to Jeff at the Tiki Bar and Karin at the front desk.

Loved the pool. Most rooms overlook the pool. Get a 1st floor and walk right out to the pool. There was a huge big screen TV at the pool that was insane! Also, had good view of bay. Would stay here again.

We stayed just one night. This is a very basic Courtyard, nothing special. The staff were nice but not as friendly as at some of the other Courtyard locations. Because of its location, it is more expensive. It does NOT have an EV charging station.

I stayed here for two nights redeeming Marriott free night certificates and was beyond satisfied with my visit. I'm not sure if I have ever seen a Courtyard with rooms spread across the grounds (some with direct access to the parking lot), but the grounds were well-kept and the patio overlooking the water was very inviting. The room itself was not fancy but still more than sufficient. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing to note is that the location is about two miles away from Duvall Street and the more touristy areas of the island, so if you are looking to imbibe and stumble back to your room in the wee hours of the morning this is probably not the place for you. But the location comes with its advantages, including a more quiet atmosphere, proximity to grocery stores and other non-tourist trap shopping, and a fantastic value for Key West (no resort fees, free parking, and the cash rates were very reasonable). And Key West is not that vast anyway and can easily be navigated by bicycle (bike rentals are available from multiple vendors on the island). On my next visit I will definitely look to book here again.

We stayed here as it was a bit cheaper than downtown and it had a good pool and great outdoor setting. All the rooms have a balcony, but ours faced the parking lot, so we did not sit out there. Some others faced the pool and a small handful would face the water. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions. They have free parking and free coffee in the mornings, which is nice. We rented bikes for our stay, so it was a 15 min bike ride one way to the action, or about a $12 Uber ride. Our room was recently renovated, so everything was newish and clean. The 3 nights we were there, we left around 9 or 10 and were back around 2 or 3 and the room had not been cleaned. I found the cleaners cart in the hallway and helped myself to tp and towels, so no big deal. I would recommend staying here as the staff is great, the location is pretty good and the pool and atmosphere is nice.

Just left an awesome birthday weekend staying at Courtyard By Marriott Key West Waterfront. Michael the manager and the staff blew us away with a welcoming birthday cake, candles and balloons for me when I walked into our suite! Everyone went out of there way to make our stay nice. Loved the pool and spa area. Fresh breakfast every morning at the bistro with Starbucks coffee! Can’t wait to stay again.
