We loved eating at The Cafe!! Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. Being vegan on vacation can sometimes be tricky, but thankfully The Cafe has so many options for every meal. We were only in town for a few days, but we ate at the cafe five times! It was that good and service was always fast and friendly. We can’t wait to visit again and order that kale salad, the empanadas, and quesadillas!

Laid-back, cozy atmosphere (5 *), very good service (5 *), and a predominantly vegetarian menu are the highlights. The spinach/artichoke dip was phenomenal but the rest (udon noodles, veggie burger) were just a bit above average. So an overall 4 *s on food.
What could be changed is the automatic application of gratuity for a party of 4 - I don't know why restaurants do that. What was even more annoying was the fact that you see a total - let's say...

Stopped by a few times during our stay at Key West, primarily because they're the only place on the island offering vegan key lime pie. The pie is great, but super expensive ($12-13 a slice). We really enjoyed the bean salad that comes as the default side with the meals. There's not much on the menu for people watching their budget; sandwiches are about $15. Also, only about 1/3 of the menu is vegan, and another 1/3 vegetarian. Would definitely go there a lot more if...
