Went in with a reservation on a Saturday evening to a nearly empty restaurant. Not sure why it was empty because our food was absolutely amazing and the service was great as well! Steak was cooked perfectly and literally melted in your mouth. Calm atmosphere and unique decor. Would highly recommend.
I’ve travelled the world and eaten at some of the best restaurants on the planet but rarely have I had an experience more friendly than at The Flaming Buoy. The experience isn’t the story. What they do with food is an awakening, a mind blowing experience. Saul would’ve become Paul sooner if he had a meal at this place. This is the idol Indiana was trying to replace with a sand bag. This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Our server (I think his name was Juan but I might be misremembering), was so sweet and pleasant to talk to. The vibe in the restaurant is very classy but nerdy with subtle Star Wars and Marvel themes throughout. They had amazing specials and the best shrimp I have ever eaten. If you are in Key West you MUST eat here.
