This was the WORST encounter I’ve ever had not only in key west; but any hotel I’ve been at on a vacation. Let’s start with the front staff. Who was the rudest, least attentative, NEVER upfront to help anyone, could never find her, NO personality, extremely crude responses, and lastly; BEYOND UNWELCOMING.

Then the parking LOL WHAT PARKING. They shoved 6 spots in a small sandwhich spot where NOBODY could get out at night without denting 4 other cars. We paid way too much for the most unwelcoming experience I’ve ever had. But don’t worry; it gets better. My bf reaches out to THE MANAGER in regards to the terrible parking spots and extremely rude staff thinking that he would be accommodating and at minimum Refund him for the $30 parking we were forced to pay and couldn’t leave or get out of. Instead of him, being an understanding, apologetic, and accommodating, he was competitive, rude, and extremely defensive. He said that he checked the cameras and was sure to let him know that he saw that there wasn’t that big of a problem getting out of the spot he then made excuses for his staff, being extremely rude, and then proceeded to basically tell us too bad, and be combative. I’m beyond disappointed in my first experience here and how badly they ruined this trip for us. This is NOT how a business should be ran. Be aware and save your money, stay somewhere else.

Nice room. Management is awful. Took our money for early check out even though we know they rented the room for the night we left. Would never use them again.

We had no idea when booking that the front desk goes home around 10pm! Arrived at 10:07pm and just got lucky that the receptionist was waiting for her ride home, so we got our key. (I had even called and left voicemail around 7pm that evening explaining I was arriving a bit later but no one explained it closes.) I'm not sure if 'security' would have ever shown up as claimed- there were others that arrived and banged on front door. I still don't know if they were helped or just gave up.
Besides that issue of not being informed in advance, the employees were friendly, rooms were private and spotless, ice maker worked very well, and the pools/hot tub were tranquil to enjoy at all hours of the night - no kids on property.
The lush landscaping is beautiful day and night although grounds are slightly disjointed and confusing to navigate with the different sections of property. A wheelchair could be accommodated in certain rooms depending on the steps at the pool deck.
Breakfast was a full amazing spread with fruit salad, bananas, eggs, sausage, pancakes, muffins, cereal, grits, juice, coffee, and more- even a free Starbucks machine that offers hot chocolate and coffee. There was also a coffee maker in room and microwave in the main lobby dining hall which is accessible for guests through back door at night (we brought late night dinner inside). Parking meter parallel from hotel entry is not charged from Midnight to Eight AM otherwise is $5 per hour. There are free spots along streets further away.
Don't be startled from the close proximity to the air base and their jet engines taking off in very early morning hours.

Overall, I would come back here again for the value.

Was a nice place however when we returned the last night there were bugs all over the bed, tried calling for another room, 1st answered then hung up. Have to pack up and travel north to get another room that night around 1:30 in the morning, will never stay there again.

You definitely can’t go wrong for the price! They had two pools and a Jacuzzi and lots of shops/attractions within walking distance. I stayed at another hotel that costs twice as much and I had a better experience at this hotel than the really expensive one.

suitable as a place to lay your head for cheap while on vacation and i'd only recommend it if that's all you're looking for. no real luxury to be had here so don't book expecting it. you get what you pay for!

decent little pools, aging rooms with cheap furniture (very clearly amazon and target), lackluster but fine breakfast selections, wine and cheese set out daily from 5-7pm. some room locations are really not desirable, ours was directly adjacent to the pool on ground level so lots of foot traffic and noise.

Incredibly small — just large enough to fit a queen bed and two nightstands. It’s so cramped that it’s hard to move around without bumping into something.. At nearly $180 a night (including resort fee) — and non-refundable — I’d say good luck if you decide to book this place.

If you are in key west you should not sit in the hotel (the room is small)for what you pay
You a have ocean to swim in… but pools are nice and we’re clean
Parking unless you are a motorcycle costs money
I would find a way to not bring a car at all and rent a scooter or golf cart

Do not stay at this bug infested hotel! This was the worst hotel experience of my life. The first night staying there May 26, 2025 we were going to sleep and started to feel bugs flying around. We turned on the light and there were tons of these little bugs everywhere. It looked like they were coming up from the drains in the bathroom. They were in/on all our belongings. I called the after hours number since they don’t have someone up at the front desk overnight. The man I spoke to said this happens all the time. He said there were no other rooms available that night so we were essentially left homeless. I had to book a last minute room and went back the next morning to talk to the woman at the front desk. She said she had gone in the room that morning to see what had happened and even said for herself it was disgusting. She said there would be no issue giving me a refund it would just have to go through priceline since that’s how I booked. After my vacation I spent hours on the phone with priceline trying to figure this situation out only to be told the hotel is denying my refund and enforcing their cancellation policy. I tried reaching out to hotel management and got no reply. It is unbelievable to me that they can do this to people. This completely ruined a vacation that was extremely expensive and that I was so excited to go on. I truly hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else this experience was awful.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in — and also the most expensive, if measured by dollar per square foot. The floors are uneven, the bedroom hardware is rusted, and the overall room conditions are terrible. I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

Loved our stay! Took advantage of of daily breakfast and happy hour. Watch out for the guests at the pool (iguanas!!!)

We loved our little room. And the morning breakfast. It was a wonderful time. And great value and location in walking distance of the southernmost pier; great food, and a beach! Will miss the place and always look back on such happy memories!

Unfortunately, my experience at this property was quite disappointing. The room was not as advertised—what we found was outdated, in need of maintenance, and overall not well kept. It felt old and worn down, with visible signs of dirt and neglect that made it uncomfortable to stay in.

For the price, I expected a much higher standard. The quality simply didn’t match the cost, and it was hard not to feel like we were overpaying for what we received. Additionally, the staff came across as unhelpful and at times even rude, which only added to the frustration.

I wouldn’t recommend it in its current state.

Location is good just a few blocks off of Duval; pools are nice, area is essentially quiet. Rooms are dated, floors sticky (keep shoes on at all times) and uneven - standing in the shower you have to hold on to keep from sliding to one end. Staff were minimally helpful and typically “hung out” with each other. Would not return to this location, too many better options in the area.
