The service was excellent and not what you would expect from somewhat of a chain restaurant, the food was delicious and fresh, they were so kind to roll down some wind-shades as well, as it was very windy.

We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was polite, gave us details about the different entires and kept our drinks coming!! Delicious fresh fish, crab leg pots and key lime pie.

Pictures on the web make the setting appear a little nicer than it was but we had excellent service and had a nice meal

Wanted something with some Key West charm in New Town and found this across from our resort. Overall very good and loved the open air seating and food/drinks were very good. Very relaxed atmosphere and if you are looking for fish and seafood they offer a very nice menu. Fresh catch was delicious and also had the smoked fish dip and conch chowder which were very good and reasonably priced. They also do shark feeding 2xs per day which I went to and was fun. Located at the entrance of the Ibis resort is easy to find and wasn't packed. Service was relaxed but attentive and food came out quickly. Would recommend for seafood and if looking for food in New Town that's not a chain.

This place was cool. I saw it on a sport fishing show. I went to the Keys the first time in early October. We wanted to hit all the Keys. Only in Key West for a few hours, I wanted at least to stop in The Stoned Crab. It's was cool! Open air, water front, they got docks, shark feeding, and more! Menu looked good. It would be real cool at night. Their own fishing boats means fresh delicious! Stop in, you'll like it! May the Good Lord bless you and keep you like he did us!

Had a really great meal, truly a fantastic seafood restaurant! The selection and quality of the dishes are excellent.
You might expect to find a small section or a few simpler, more affordable options on the menu, considering the restaurant’s atmosphere and setting.
But overall, a wonderful place!

EOSL. If you don’t speak Spanish, good luck. Tough to get service bc there is a language barrier. Fish dip was ground fish, not much flavor and def didn’t stick together for crackers. Don’t even think about using the celery or carrot. Peel and eat shrimp are hard to screw up but just know they aren’t deveined. We left and went elsewhere for dinner. Beer choices were pretty good for a restaurant. Prices were absolutely reasonable.

Absolutely do not trust what they tell you. I was looking at Ibis Bay Resort through Capital One Travel in August for a trip in October. I called the hotel directly to inquire about shuttle service to downtown Key West. I was assured that they have regular shuttle service included to downtown. Imagine my surprise when checking in and I asked when their shuttle service was, I was told that they had cancelled it a year ago. I cancelled the reservation and was told there would be full refund. Then when I go through Capital One Travel to process the refund, they tell me that Ibis Bay was not doing the full refund. Absolutely unacceptable. They lied to me twice, once about the shuttle service, then again about the full refund. Do not stay here at all.

This was some of the worst food I have ever tasted. We had Paella for two at $79. All of the seafood was so over cooked and extremely chewy. I was barely able to cut the lobster, even with a knife. The saffron rice was so over spiced with tomato sauce and some other spice horrible that is was inedible. I should have listened to the 3.5 stars and known it was horrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $100.

We had dinner at the Stoned Crab last night, a party of four. Everyone enjoyed their meals (the NY strip, fettuccini with shrimp & lobster, and two had the fresh catch with pink shrimp, plus the calamari appetizer.) Service was terribly slow and the restaurant wasn’t busy. Took nearly ten minutes for anyone to take our drink order, and even longer to get flatware - which we flagged someone who wasn’t even our server to get AFTER we had been brought our app. The menu is pretty basic and doesn’t list what sides come with what entree. It would be helpful for diners to be able to review those options on the menu, rather than the server rattling them off so fast you can barely hear. Atmosphere was nothing to write home about, and noise from the road didn’t help.

Our server was nice, but the food was lacking in flavor. Just being honest, sorry. Three of the four of us were really disappointed. Out of any red wine, too. Way too expensive for what we received. UPDATE (8 months later): Hello? Any owner or manager comment? Again, just being honest about our experience.
