The food, the beer, and my server were amazing. I would have liked to sit at the bar, but I was never acknowledged by the bartender after moving seats twice. The bar was not exceptionally busy. I had gotten off a cruise ship in Key West specifically to visit this place. My server was very sweet and attentive. I will visit again next time I am in Key West. Probably won't try to sit at the bar next time though.
I had the kale salad. It was absolutely delicious 😋. The waiter needs a personality transplant.

The menu had a GF scallop risotto dish that included mirepoix. I am not gluten-free but because mirepoix has three ingredients, including flour, I wanted to know what their recipe consisted of. Three times I had to ask the server what was in their mirepoix and he came back and finally said it’s made with butter. SMH. Needless to say, I did not and would not order it.
Started our time on key west here. That was a mistake. The bartender did not acknowledge us for awhile. Finally when she did we were asking questions and she was snippy and short. There were no offers to express the beers. We ordered a beer each, and she never came back to check on us. We left cash and left.

Seemed annoyed to pour me a beer. What???
A good restaurant that offers breakfast burgers and salads. One star less because the service could have been better, and the waitress was smiling and friendly.
However, the dishes remain high quality and plentiful. The beers are brewed locally.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

The Waterfront brewery has a nice location right on the water with a decent sized menu for both food and beer.
The food we got was fine. Our server was gone for most of our visit, and when we ordered she kept trying to convince us to order the fried fish sandwich instead of grilled (we all prefer grilled fish sandwiches) so we thought that was odd as we didn’t ask for any recommendations.

Would have liked to been able to choose the beers I wanted in the flight - but you can't beat the prices for KW! $8 for 4
Make sure you don't pay with Amex, they don't take it, they also don't tell you until you pull it out to pay that they don't take it. Long story short , my husband had to run back to our hotel room 3/4 mile away to get a different card.
Roxy wanted to be condescending by bringing multiple triangular table top flyers and surrounding me with them and point it out on a black menu after I asked for the check... like it's my fault they are one of the only bars/ restaurants in America who don't take American Express. Also, which I thought was hilarious, the waitress (Roxy) proceeded to say "a lot of places in the Virgin Islands don't take American Express". Um... ok... thanks. I'm not in the Virgin Islands, and I'm not going there, not on a cruise. Why would you bring that up? The bartender at Conch Republic laughed when I told her this and said literally every legit restaurant on this island takes America Express. Who knew a "brewery" didn't.
Why not just state it when the customer sits down? Most people who are on cruise only take a few cards with them in port: customers who come from a hotel will probably only havea few cards.
After 3 days, this is the only legit restaurant / bar on the island that doesn't take Amex. A coconut dealer on the side of the road and another coconut place who literally said they don't take amex before we ordered, don't take Amex . Wouldn't bother with the attitude we got from the waitress. Food and beer were nothing special.

Stopped in here for dinner one night during our stay in Key West. Really great Key West vibe and it’s right on the waterfront (hence, the name) so there’s always something to see while you’re having dinner. The service was excellent and the food was great. Good music too.
The cobb salad was huge and included egg, bacon, gorgonzola, lettuce, tomatoes and a great balsamic dressing. Really good. The roast beef and grilled cheese sandwich was absolutely stuffed with beef and came with a literal haystack of fries. Outstanding!
Lot’s of fun. Highly recommended.

Pulled pork tasted like it was microwaved. I was bored most of the time. But most importantly NO PAPER TOWELS IN BATHROOM? BLOW DRYER ONLY? Invest in some dead trees please.

I don’t drink beer but stopped with family that do. Ordered a whiskey sour and they didn’t put whiskey in it. Watched her make it and when confronted she was very defensive. Wouldn’t remake it.
