we went here for my 21st birthday and they would serve me but they would not serve my mother champagne because her ID is expired. Because of COVID it has been very difficult to get an updated ID but it just expired a few days ago. Very rude experience because the owners accused us of being cops and even claimed we were holding a sting operation. I felt very uncomfortable, they made me feel like I was out to get them. I really liked the atmosphere but with all of the accusations it made a cool experience very negative and sad.
The best food we've had in Key West hands down! Such a unique experience from the decor to the service and all the food in-between. Highly, highly recommend going to eat dinner here at least once. It makes for a perfect date night. Very well-priced, too. And the champagne room right next door is beyond beautiful. We are looking forward to going back.
Food was great. Service was good. We were only people there. Very dark and sexy place w cool decor. Food is great! Wine and beer only so keep that in mind. Loved the fried chicken and the egg rolls the most! Chick peas were a little Al dented but flavor was good especially w fried bread. Sticky rice was also a little undercooked and the banana dessert was unique Small Menu but overall very tasty food!
We dined at TB on a Tuesday night, as chef was understaffed. The restaurant was not too busy, so chef served and cooked. The food is extraordinarily good, and we had a great time talking cooking and travel. We will definitely return.
We found this gem last night. Nearly didn’t go in as we thought it was closed but we had to use the champagne bar door. The aroma in the restaurant was phenomenal. We sat at the bar and Russ (who turned out to be the chef) served us. It’s a small place but with plenty of seating. Everything (except the tofu) on the menu appealed to us. We had the lamb ribs, the chickpea curry and tried both sauces on the fried chicken. Everything was so ridiculously tasty. I highly recommend trying it out.
Don't go on the name .. this tiger is not a scary one it's a very friendly place. My son and I enjoyed their Korean chicken and lamb. Lots of options available for non alcoholics also. Great people food and ambience . Russo we r coming back will send all friends from Keywest. It's my new hide out spot in Keywest. Definitely locals recommended .
Best new-ish restaurant in Key West. Menu is designed so you can order and share one of everything. We sat at the bar, ordered a bottle of rose champagne and enjoyed every dish they offer. We left full and happy. Order two of the Korean fried chicken dishes so you can experience both sauces. The tofu dish was the best ive ever had - almost tasted like fried mozzarella! Don't skip the desserts! A must do when in Key West. This place should be sold out every night.
excellent chef, awesome atmosphere and a menu you will not see anywhere else
Very eclectic , but delicious food. Our favorite were the Asian Sticky balls. Staff was attentive, Chef was great. Only downside (and its minor) is the have to go next door to use the bathroom issue. Seek this place out for a unique tasting night out!
We had a reservation and we were seated upon arrival. When entering it was quite dark but it didn't take long for our eyes to adjust. The ambiance really added to the overall experience. Our Waiter, Dara was very attentive and helpful explaining all the menu options. We ended up trying one of everything to share and thoroughly enjoyed all the eclectic Asian options. A party in your mouth best describes our dinner. Favorites were the Lamb ribs, Lumpia and Korean fried chicken. The fried artichoke was offered as a special and it was delicious too! We can see why the reviews are so good! We will definitely return!

Our party of 4 ordered all eight of the appetizers (with doubles of a couple that the fantastic server said wouldn't stretch far enough). Each of the appetizers was a work of art - both visually and (more importantly) in taste. Lots of changes of color, texture, flavor - really incredible. We thought we might order seconds of our favorites but found that the first round was plenty. We visit Key West every year or two and The Tiger Bar is going into our regular rotation (Blue Heaven, Louie's Backyard, Salute!). Highly recommended.
We were looking forward to dining at Tiger Bar, expecting Asian food and probably sushi. When we arrived, we were led into an unexpected dark ambience. Our host was very enthusiastic and accommodating. The menu turned out to be solely small plates and we were advised to try one of everything if we were hungry. So we did try almost all of the items with the exception of the tofu plate. We agreed that most of their dishes were extremely tasteful with interesting sauces. The hot honey chicken disappointed as not hot and rather mushy. I ordered a second plate of their lumpia, a very, very small but fiery egg roll. We both enjoyed the food, but agreed the quantity of food was disappointing given the price. All in all it was an interesting experience, but it's not one we wish to repeat.
The dark, chill, exotic vibe of the dining room is only upstaged by the food, which is always flavorful and delicious. Who knew I would ever crave tofu?
I love the concept of the restaurant but the food fell short. If you only have 8-10 small plates on a menu you should have them perfected. We had the Asian sticky meatballs, the sauce was flavorful but the meatball was dry. The curry chickpeas were undercooked. Our plan was for multiple small plates but we left after just 2.
I wish I had a place like this where I live! My husband and I were in Key West for a week. Our first time at Tiger Bar was on a Tuesday, and we knew after the first dish that we needed to make a reservation to come back on Thursday. It stands out as the best restaurant in Key West. The ambiance is unbeatable, the service is fabulous, and the food.... We tried everything on the menu and we were so excited to meet the chef behind the small dishes and tell him that we were huge fans. I enjoyed every single bite. Highly recommend Tiger bar for people who want to find a hidden gem and try some new flavors in an amazing spot.
