Great stay at La Concha. Added bonus of Tropicado Mojito Bar with doors right off of Duvall! Gary and Sarah were amazing to us. Anticipated our needs and made excellent drinks. Try the Blackberry Mojito or the Espresso Martini! PS. Hotel pool is wonderful with cabanas, bar, and 3 floors of games and seating areas.

A not-so hidden gem in the heart of Key West! The Cubano Daiquiri at Tropicado Mojito Bar is nothing short of perfection - stripped down to its purest form with just three ingredients that would make Hemingway himself proud. The expert craftsmanship shines through in every sip, with the perfect balance of Havana Club White Rum, fresh-squeezed lime juice, and Demerara syrup. The drink arrives in an elegant coupe glass, garnished simply with a lime wheel against a pristine, pale golden elixir.

While many Key West bars overcomplicate their cocktails, Tropicado at La Concha understands that true artistry lies in fresh simplicity. The bartenders here, particularly Jovana, German, and Irakli, demonstrate an exceptional understanding of classic cocktail craft. The attention to detail and precise measurements result in what is the finest daiquiri you’ll find in the Conch Republic.

The bar’s stylish setting, with its geometric-patterned tables and sophisticated ambiance, provides the perfect backdrop for enjoying these masterfully crafted cocktails. Skip the sugary frozen concoctions elsewhere - this is where you’ll find the real spirit of Key West’s cocktail heritage.

This new bar on Duval is a big disappointment. We had to ask over and over to get any service at a table. The waiters looked at us and promises to come for the order but it took 15 minutes for anyone to come to the table. Same issue getting our check. If you go, sit at the bar to get any attention.
Drinks cost $19 so you expect more from the staff. It was not busy and there was plenty of help available.

We stopped in here to have a mojito, looked over the menu and wanted to come back and eat. The bartender recommended stopping at the Hemingway distillery and we did. Afterwards came back and enjoyed the menu! We got the following items: BlackBerry mojito, island time mojito , mango mojito, basil mojito. My fiancé wasn’t huge on the basil mojito but the others were tasty. We also enjoyed the Key west pinks ceviche: it has a different spin, carrots, red peppers tomatoes and onions. I’m used to a more fruit based ceviche but it was still good. Chicken fricassee empanadas weren’t bad. Chicken tacos good but could have used more chicken. And lastly my fiancé got the Jerk flavored Chicharonnes, she enjoyed them.

Christian & Harry are amazing. My husband & I went here on a whim while on vacation, we found out it was their 2nd day open - I would have never guessed. Christian & Harry are so personable, professional & talented. The drinks are perfectly curated, the atmosphere is old Hollywood glam with a modern flare, couldn’t recommend this bar more!!

Drinks and service were very good. At $18 per drink you can run up quite the tab.
