We visit Key West 2-3 times a year, and Virgilio’s is a must every time. Yes, Martini Mondays are great, but dining any day they are open is simply the best Italian on the island!

food was just Okay. Bread service tried but mediocre. Had the snapper which was dry. String beans a little too Al dente. Salad was okay. Escargots okay. Ambiance okay. Not upscale.. Service was outstanding! Not worth a return trip . Avoided it for years but finally tried due to yelp reviews.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Key West. The charcuterie was excellent, the Negroni was spot-on, and the seafood soup and pasta were delicious as always. The service was great, and the food came out in record time. I have only good things to say about this place. I will visit again the next time I'm in Key West.

Ambiance is always great in downtown Key West. Our waiter was terribly slow. 15 minutes to take our drink order, 20 minutes to deliver drinks, over a half an hour to receive food, once ordered. Food was over-sauced. 3 of us ended up taking food home because the sauce was over whelming. I could not find the ravioli, shrimp or crab in the sauce. The 1 person who had the chicken piccata was happy. We have eaten at La Trat many times, and were happy. This time we were disappointed.

Food and service were very good. Sat at a sidewalk table to enjoy the sights and sounds of Key West. Duvall Street is very entertaining. The street was busy and full of people, but no one bothered us during our dinner.

The bread was excellent. The carpaccio was some of the best I have ever had. The entrée portions are huge. (They are almost too big as I felt terrible leaving that much food to waste) We had a wonderful meal -- wine to coffee -- appetizer to dessert. It was an experience!

We were greeted by a very unfriendly, non smiling host. She wouldn't sit us where we requested so we ended up moving our table after the waitress came over. Our waitress was friendly and the food was delicious. Prices were pretty average for a nice Italian restaurant. The restaurant played great music, but couldn't hear it until the live band stopped playing across the street.

Food average at best. My wife's eggplant dish was not very good at all. My chicken parm was over cooked. On the positive side the green beans, linguine and house salad were very good. Probably will not return

Exceptional dining experience at this Italian restaurant in Key West! Visited twice during our stay - the Caesar salad and seafood pasta were absolutely divine both times. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the fish specials paired with the delightful Caesar salad. Impeccable service from the friendly and attentive staff, and the elegant ambiance with white linen tablecloths added to the charm. Reasonable prices for such a wonderful experience. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Man does not live by bread alone, but it was the only part of the meal that was even edible. How unfortunate to believe that you can put an Italian name on a business whose food was as Italian as a McDonald's MacFish sandwich. Don't believe any positive reviews, tourists beware....

We waited for 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us once they finally seated us. Then the juggling of wait staff was insane. We did not an actual waitstaff assigned to our table. Random people took our order and then someone else would come to see if anyone gave us bread and drinks etc....... It's too bad because we love their food. I'm hoping our next dining experience will be a great one.

Large menu with lots to choose from. Large portions with very reasonable prices for what I consider a high-end restaurant. Easily accessible on Duval. Good experience some years ago when I went for the first time. Happy it is still high quality.

We frequently take a flight that arrives in Ley West at 6:35 pm. We go to the hotel and drop our bags then immediately head to La Trattoria for dinner. It's always our first meal in Key West. It never disappoints! This time we tried the lobster tail with shrimp. Amazing! Large (8 oz tail). This is my new favorite meal at La Trattoria! The bread dipped in oil/balsamic/parmesan is a great start to the meal. Salad was very fresh. Service was on point. The only issue we encountered was when we tried to order a 2nd bottle of wine we were told we had just finished the last bottle of that brand. But, they had lots of alternates. I would highly recommend LaTrattoria for anyone wanting a great meal in Key West.

Spaghetti pomodoro was delicious. Salads were light and not too big. Linguine con Vongole had nice small clams but the broth could have used more flavor. Servers were on top of things on a very buy night and the kitchen was keeping up with demand.
