It was the only place open in the interior. Beer was cold, buffalo burger OK, burger better and onion petals were tasty. The bartender was not very friendly, guess he was having a bad day. They had a full bar but the make bartender said he was too busy to make anything???

Welcome to Interior. If you are reading this review you are in the middle of nowhere. But you are in luck. Good beer and good food can be found here. Now, this isn't some fancy restaurant; this is bar food. However, it is prepared very well. We had the buffalo burgers and they were better than average. I would have to say the best burger in town. Might be the only burger in town. Guy behind the bar was friendly, beer was cold and cheap, and the food was just what we needed. We love dive bars so we felt right at home.

Had a great steak sandwich and crispy fries. Cold beer with several choices. Husband's buffalo burger was good, too. Not over cooked like some bars tend to do. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Not much of a place to look at but food is good.

I'd say for what you would expect in a super small town, on the side of the road in Interior, SD, population 94, it was fantastic! The place was neat! The two folks working there, probably owners, were super friendly and accommodating. The menu was small but just what we wanted. It was tasty. The place was clean and VERY well air conditioned. I'd recommend stopping if you're passing through the badlands and get hungry.

There are few dining options in the town of Interior, but this is a welcoming place, with simple bar food -all cooked to order, including pizzas and burgers. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, good mix of locals and travellers. Chill western vibes and lots of unique decor to check out.
Closed down is now an island memories gift shop.
