Absolutely love this place. It wasn't insanely crowded, the atmosphere was chill and relaxing, and Natalie the bartender was so attentive and really great to have serve us. Even with our slightly unprepared asks she was on point the entire time. Definitely 10/10 and plan to come back as often as we can. Kissimmee local but first time here. Hidden gem for sure. Also found out they do live music at night! Wish we could have experienced that but all the more reason to come back. I had the ability tuna (the wasabe is in the sauce so be warned), my husband had the loaded fries (the queso is ridiculously amazing) and my brother had the shrimp po boy which came out looking like a meal for a week! Plus the drinks were AMAZING! Check them out for sure!!

Went in for lunch. The parking is out on the Street and there was plenty of space available (keep in mind I went in the afternoon). I went in for a quick Lunch and had my lobster bisque soup with House salad and a mimosa. The waitress and bartender were super nice (sorry I didn't catch their names) but it was only us 3. The place looks very chill and it has a pavilion outside which I might try next time. This place was recommended to me and did not diappoint.

First time trying this very cool, very fun restaurant. Our server, LUCIANO, had our backs from the moment we walked in. He knows the history and vibe of the place well, and made both food and drink recommendations that were perfect for us. He even introduced us to the bartender, whose recommended Old Fashioned was a great experience! Luciano’s personal and attentive service will certainly bring us back to try more of what was delicious food. Highly recommended restaurant… casual enough to be comfy but with enough class to make you feel special to go there.

We sat down at a table and gave our server our bar drinks that then took 18 minutes to get to our table. There were only 2 other tables and not a single person at the bar top. Two rounds of drinks to another table had come out before ours. The bartender could have ran the drinks. We proceeded to order food as well as a soup and salad. The soup came out with the food and we didn’t get the salad until asking the I presume cook who ran it out for us. The taste of the food was good, steak was cooked to the preferred temperature and seasoned well however, nothing was hot. Considering the cook ran our food while our server was MIA we were not sure how long it was sitting in the window. Our server seemed nice just very inexperienced and she was unable to take more than 3 tables. ****Another note to mention: A random man came in the front door, up to our table, as well as another and tried to sell us kids toys and snacks for a bargain from an old bag. Not sure why the business is allowing solicitors to enter and talk to guests at tables.

Came here at nearly 1 am… waited a loooong time before a bartender was even available at the bar. Empty back bar except guests on either side.
Not a fan of being charged more for unknown reasons… didn’t get an itemized receipt, only one that charged us $6 more than what the drinks cost… and with taxes, it wouldn’t have been that much.
I prefer companies that anticipate their employees being straight forward about gratuities, since that’s what I’m assuming it is.
Not a fan. Not returning.

I wish I could give a good review about 1881, but there’s no way I could, other than the atmosphere. It’s a really cool location and has amazing charm as a historic hardware store-turned restaurant. The food, however, was not good. The service was fine and friendly. But the food was an all around major disappointment.
