Disney has changed a lot since the last time I was there and not in a good way. It's more expensive and the service overall just isn't what it use to be, BUT at 50's Prime Time, that's not the case. Cousin Chris provided the best interactive experience in my opinion. By far the best cast member or experience in all the parks and resorts. She was great, orders were perfect even with two food allergies at the table. Cousin Chris's character was fun and entertaining. She realized that I wasn't feeling good (probably driven by being run down) and provided information to help me feel better if needed. An excellent cast member who deserves to be recognized.

I honestly don’t know what just happened at 50’s Prime Time Café. I thought I was going to enjoy a nice, nostalgic meal at a cute diner with some old-school vibes, but instead, I got what can only be described as the weirdest dining experience of my life.

First of all, I’m just trying to enjoy my meal, but the waitstaff? They were completely rude to me! I mean, I’m all for a little playful banter, but when I was told to “eat my veggies” like I was a kid, I was honestly taken aback. Then they made me wait to be seated, which—fine, whatever, I get it, it’s busy—but when they finally let me sit down, it was like they were treating me like I was some kind of nuisance for even being there!

They kept telling me to keep my elbows off the table and scolded me for not finishing my drink. I tried to explain I was just there for a nice meal, but instead of being welcomed, I felt like I was at some weird family dinner where the relatives were in a bad mood. Honestly, I was ready to leave, but I had to finish my food because they kept staring at me like I was doing something wrong.

The food itself wasn’t bad—classic comfort food, I guess—but I definitely won’t be coming back. If I wanted to be treated like a child and get lectured during dinner, I would’ve gone to a family gathering. I didn’t realize that this was supposed to be part of the experience. If you like eating in a place where the staff acts like you’re in trouble for simply existing, then sure, give this a go.

Amazing fried chicken that does not require any sauce or further seasoning. The fries are okay, but the corn is FIRE. The sweet tea ain’t too sweet and the staff is always in character and energized. I dunno how they do it.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Disney!! The theming is spot on, the servers play family member roles hysterically interacting with the diners along the way. Plus the food is delicious, mom would approve!

Had an amazing lunch here! We ordered the peanut butter and jelly milkshake, cornbread and corn chowder. Everything was scrumptious! Daniel was our server and he was hysterical! Really great experience here, highly recommend!

So far the restaurant is 20 mins late past our reservation time. No lack or care for the fact they are wasting your time on a disney trip. Asked to speak with coordinator and coordinator said she couldn't do anything for us. They have kept telling me the table is ready even though its not.

Food was ok but not worth the money.
I've had better chicken in golden corral

Don’t get cousin Craig as your server, he played no role into the theme of the restaurant and basically acted like a regular server. I’ve seen so many videos saying how good this theming is and he completely ruined it. He was probably feeding into the stereotype that young people don’t tip. It sucks to watch everyone around you have such a good experience while you’re given the worst one in the whole park. He had absolutely no emotion at all, fire Craig he sucks.

Our server was extremely rude. I dislike putting a business down based on the interaction of just one person but it has upset me enough that I cannot help it. She was rude and condescending and not one time she stopped by our table to see if things were OK. I ordered the shrimp and they were undercooked. She then slapped a dessert menu and would not even give me a second to open my mouth and say I wanted to return the shrimp because they were undercooked; she just walked away.

Our favorite restaurant at HS! Delicious food and Daniel was the best waiter ever! He didn’t get angry when we had elbows on the table, he allowed us to check our phones and even gave us “empty plate club” stickers when we finished our food!

Meatloaf! Homemade flavors of meatloaf, mashed potato, and green beans were a wonderful pleasure. A blast from the past, grannies recipes were true to form. Three huge slices of meatloaf topped with gravy onto of mashed potatoes with buttered green beans on the side. Sinful! I got a clean plate sticker.
Service has a catchy attitude of slapstick in-between attentive desires.
After this lunch, I was ready to sit still for awhile at Beauty and the Beast and Frozen sing along.

Food was subpar. The fried chicken was okay and the pork roast was very fatty. Server was great and gave very fast drink refills. Atmosphere was just like a 50s diner.

The food was amazing. We ordered the cornbread skillet as an appetizer & though quite dense, it was sooooo good, especially with the honey butter. My partner & I both ordered the fried chicken entree that came with perfectly fried pieces of meat. Honestly, it was some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. I didn’t even need to add hot sauce. The corn was a little too soft for me but the mashed potatoes with gravy was very yummy. I took most of my food to go & ate it cold later (no microwave in the hotel room) & it was still good. If the meal can be eaten cold, then you know it’s quality. Our server was amusing. She offered “house rules” & took little digs at us (it’s the theme of the restaurant), which I found entertaining. 10/10, I’d love to go back.
