A&W Restaurant Old Town

I like the food and Vibes

This might sound odd but it was my first time ever trying A&W (other than some of their sodas of course).
It was good—the dining room was clean and the staff were very nice. A little pricey, but that's probably to be expected in touristville.

I was bummed that they're not actually affiliated, seemingly, with A&W corporate? Or ? I couldn't use the app / the app didn't recognize this location.

I did not try a rootbeer float, but I might go back soon to do just that.

I tried the corn dog nuggets which were great - I'd be hard to ruin those, no? I got the 5-piece but they gave me 7—score!

And the chili cheese fries, which were okay. Fries themselves: great and crispy. Cheese , nice. Chili, okay. Very tangy. I'd get them again with just cheese, I think.

The fountain A&W rootbeer was very tasty.

The restroom was, honestly pretty nasty. I think a customer had just trashed it though, to be fair.
Very old building, but that mainly showed in the restroom.

Booths in the dining room are very comfy. I think I'll be back.

Every time I'm out of state I look for A&W. Hamburger 🍔 & Rootbeer Float in a Frosted Mug 🍺 😋

First Root-beer float in about 40 years…nice,tasty and brings back memories when life was simpler! We had a small drive in in the small town my stepdad was posted to, would go there every weekend till it closed down ! So stop in for a visit and revisit ole memories !

Came in after eating at Shoney's for the breakfast buffet. I had a root beer float. It was ice cold and beyond delicious.

Awful $70 for 3 gross burgers, cheese curds and fries! The only good thing was the cheese curds and the float but prices were outrageous!!!

Retro 1950s vibe at this A&W in Old Town Kissimmee! Parking can be a challenge, but there are free and paid options.
The service at A&W was good.
We decided to try several combos: bacon cheeseburger, shrimp, chicken tenders, and a cheeseburger. The chicken tenders were the best! However, the cheeseburger tasted like old meat, and the coleslaw wasn’t great. The fries were good, but the real standout was the fresh-made A&W Root Beer! It was smooth, creamy, and in my opinion, way better than the store-bought variety. I’d come back just for the Root Beer and the chicken tenders!

The Chili cheese hot dog, I don’t know what it was but the taste was just off. I should have stopped eating it when I questioned it because I was sick all night long. Prices were a bit shocking. $20 for shrimp, fries and a coke meal. We drove out of our way to give this place a try and we were not impressed. It’s pretty run down. There’s very limited seating. The staff is not welcoming. If you want ice cream and wait in their very long line, they send you to another line where the shakes and ice cream is made. It’s very odd if you’ve ever been to an A&W. On top of it all they ask if you want to tip at the end. After that service?
We don’t recommend.

The A&W float was just how I imagined, PERFECTION😋🥰 staff was super friendly too.

Most disgusting burgers I ever had , can’t even explain the way the burgers looked & tasted !!!! Never to this place & matter of fact never again to any of these chain restaurants, totally waste of money

11/17/2024-Never again. The burger taste rancid. We ordered a cheeseburger plain and a bacon double cheeseburger combo my friend open his burger and left it right there. I took a bite of my burger and left it right there. It was not good. Left the whole tray of food right there on the table left, I don’t suggest this place.

we got food for 3 people and it was $65 for tiny portions which nobody could finish because it tasted like plastic....the tables where dirty and gross waste of money lol

Fries obviously redipped in grease.. they were VERY grease logged.
The burger was so salty, I mean almost like the cook spilled salt over it.
Is this what you get for $40.00 here!?
Never again!
