Antojos Boricuas Restaurant

My first time here and it’s absolutely amazing!! I will be going here at least 3-5 times a month. Especially since it’s only 5 minutes from my house and the food was fresh and delicious.

Place was empty on a Saturday 1-2pm… when we entered we were told to choose our own seating. Plain white, uninviting uncomfortable seating. No coffee available, no natural drinks available… no lemonade….alcapurria (masa) didn’t feel fresh, barely any meat in it.But You know a place by its most simple platter they can offer— a ham and cheese sandwich. Seems they were also out of ham as the sandwich had only one slice. Lettuce was not chopped properly, big chunks with yellow bits… . Size was decent, presentation was ok…but lacked flavor. No salt, pepper, hot sauce, or oil/vinegar available on the tables…

Tremendous place to eat. The food is authentic and full of flavor. Prices are good with generous portions.

They are inconsistent!!! I drove 2 hours to get to this place, the GPS says they close at 12, and they closed. At 11

The food is really bad and too expensive for the quality. For someone who is lation, they look to eat something with flavor but this wea had no flavor at all, pure dried and fried weas. Since they don't have soaked chicken with broth, something that isn't fried, for God's sake, don't they know how to cook stewed chicken or pan-fried chicken? What's up with the lousy rice, super dry and tasteless?

The worst experience we have had, we arrived at 8:40 pm and it was 10:58 pm and they didn't bring us food, because we asked and they never ordered it!!! It was noticed that they had preferences for some groups, it was my first time from Miami to visit this place and it will be my LAST!!

I heard about the place in my work, so I decided to have my lunch there. My first time was really good, nice music, amazing waitress and the menu is affordable.
Don’t miss this spot.
