This restaurant is not your typical authentic jamaican restaurant. I'm sorry truth be told. This was an insult toward a Jamaican family heritage. I came into this establishment because I was hungry and I only had 45mins to order something quick. I went in and it was only myself and a mother and son that had been waiting. I waited damn near my whole entire lunch break only to receive some nasty microwaved rice and peas, watery curry chicken and dumplings which was also nasty. I knew the food wasnt going to be good because the peas wasnt even the original Jamaican peas. I sat and ate it, but I told the lady I couldn’t continue to eat the food and I'd like my money back. The cashier was very upset and had an attitude. She kept trying to convince me that the rice was fresh. I said I’m sorry, no it's not. It’s microwaved and it doesn't have the original authentic taste. I know Jamaican food and this ain't it. She tried to convince me again that the food was fresh, and suggest I get something else. I wasnt about to waste the rest of my lunch going back and forth with her. She can tell I didn't enjoy the food. I barley touched it. The rice was mushy, sticky, the curry chicken had the color, but not the flavor. I've learned when there is food ppl will eat Anything and me on the other hand I'm not about that life. I prefer quality and authenticity especially if I'm paying for it. The food was tasteless and nasty and I'll never step foot in there again! Poinciana is beautiful. If they're going to have hole in the wall restaurants, then the food needs to be top notch and represent that.

Had Ackee and saltfish and dumplings. I didn't eat the green bananas since I don't care for them. Stewed chicken with rice and peas ⭐ Food was great 👍, lady was friendly. Fast service. We sat outside on the side of the house.

Yesterday (1/3/2025) was the first time that I tried food from 'Better U Dining' AND LET ME TELL YOU ALL!!!! THE FOOD WAS A SOLID 10/10 !!! And do not get me started on the fruit punch with ginger drink!!!! ... Absolutely delicious!!! It was soooo good, that today (1/4/2025) I ordered food for the entire house!!!!! AND GUESS WHAT?! They loved the food as well!!!!!!

very disappointed in the Stewed Chicken there was barely any chicken with the Stewed Chicken just bone and for being Stewed Chicken tasted dry. Also very disappointed in the Jerk Chicken no spicy to it what so ever. If I was able to get money back I would. THIS DOES NOT TASTE ANYTHING LIKE WHAT IT SHOULD. The dishes where poorly made no flavor. This is my third time ordering from this place and each time very very disappointed. I tired the Curry goat,oxtails and just the same all way around these dishes do not taste anything like they should. and YES I know what they should taste like. So like in baseball 3 strikes and your out sorry but hopefully they can put a little more heart into their dishes.

I absolutely love Better U Dining. I remember the first time eating here and being blown away with the flavor. As a vegan I’m so grateful they have options for me. The customer service is unmatched. They are always so sweet, kind, welcoming. I was so sad when they closed down the restaurant in downtown Kissimmee but it was a celebration when I discovered I can still order on uber eats. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re doing yourself a disservice. The food is top tier! Thank you everyone at Better U Dining! I’m forever grateful!
