Wait time was more than 40 minutes for a chicken with fries box and the chicken pinchos were cold. I even asked the cashier after 20 minutes of the orded and she didn't respond back. When the person gave me the order I even told her it was over 40 minutes and she responded that the receipt time was wrong. I reply back yes because of the time change.

The truth is that they cook good food, it is what we would call a kiosk or chinchorro in PR, the alcapurrias and the bacalaitos are delicious.

Ok, so I don’t usually do these reviews but when I saw what was being said online about the location on Pleasant Hill, I couldn’t help but question if the reviews I was reading, where to the same location I went to today (10/15/24). Being Puerto Rican I get how our food isn’t the healthiest and you can expect some level of grease but when you bite into an alcapurria and all you taste is the oil it’s fried in squirting out from the food as you eat is pretty gross. The tostones were not cooked thoroughly and the carne frita was nothing but fat and the meat was pretty much non-existent. Their customer service is horrible. They ignore you and roll their eyes when they want or leave you talking as they walk away while you order your food. They are way over priced for food that is mediocre at best. C’mon now, the state of FL has an extremely low pay rate (they should be ashamed of themselves) so paying almost $4 for an alcapurria is asinine when all you have around you is low income people and elderly on SSI barely able to get by.

The food is really good and the service is decent but the girl that took the order was like a little space out.

They have a box of chicken with potatoes, it's not typical from Puerto Rico but they taste very good and for the price they give you quite a few.
