Our experience at Hollywood & Vine was excellent. The children truly enjoyed meeting the characters, and the atmosphere made the meal very special for the whole family.

Nice place for a buffet style meal. Everyone will find something they like. The characters come to each table for pictures.

I chose Hollywood & Vine to celebrate my birthday and to enjoy some character dining on birthday weekend, and it turned out to be a great choice. The characters were dressed in their Halloween costumes, and each one came by our table not once but twice. They were so sweet and engaging, adding joy to the experience.

The buffet had a lot of variety. The standout for me personally was the mushroom risotto — rich, full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the cheesy cauliflower, sautéed garlic green beans, and peel-and-eat shrimp. The large shrimp where perfectly cleaned but shells left. I had tap water to keep hydrated and avoid excess sugary drinks (not my favorite taste, so I’d recommend another drink if you’re sensitive to that) but ended the meal with a hot cup of chamomile tea. Our server, Crystal, brought two tea bags, honey, and fresh lemon without having to ask; all was appreciated and more than adequate. It was a thoughtful touch, though I noticed they didn’t provide a stirrer.

Dessert isn’t usually my thing, but I tried the strawberry tres leche cake since a fresh batch had just come out. I was the first to scoop a small sliver, and the strawberry sprinkled topping gave it a fun flavor and texture. The soft serve, on the other hand, was icy rather than creamy, so I couldn’t enjoy and discarded.

Service overall was very good. Crystal was kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The only real disappointment was that when we were seated, the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything. She noted my birthday on the ticket, but it was never mentioned again — not even a small “happy birthday.” A little acknowledgment would have been nice especially considering this was the reason for the splurge, but it didn’t ruin the experience - just would have been the icing on the cake to top off the birthday dinner experience.

Total cost for two people, including a 20% tip, was $145.97. Eeek — definitely on the pricey side — but since it was a birthday meal and a special experience, I was okay with it.

All in all, I was very satisfied. The character interactions were wonderful, the food had some standout dishes, and the service and overall vibe was pleasant. Not a foodie destination, but perfect for a fun, memorable Disney experience.

Excellent service all around! The characters were absolutely amazing, full of energy, interacting with us, and even giving us a few fun Halloween scares!
Although we can’t leave a recommendation directly here, we want to give a big shout-out to all the staff from the 1:00 pm lunch on September 3rd, thank you for making it such a memorable experience.
And to the characters: fantastic job! Thank you Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, and of course Goofy (yes, you’re our favorite! 🥰). We had a wonderful time!

The food was good, no real complaints.
Our server was amazingly good.

The bad was that some kid knocked Goofy over and he was not in the rotation while we were eating.

The main issue is the price, it is ridiculously expensive to eat there.

American staples buffet in a period diner, in Hollywood Studios.

Restaurant is split into two with both sides of the buffet having the same food. Shepards Pie, water melon salad and the tofu stood out for us as well as the salad and bread. Desert is in a central location near the door you enter from. Watch out for the soft serve (vanilla, chocolate or a mix).

Service was amazing, refills just magically appearing. Characters also wandering throughout the diner make for a magical experience. Recommend!

This was a nice buffet with a high price tag. There were a lot of options, but it felt a little all over the place. I enjoyed most of the food I tried.

I had high hopes for Hollywood & Vine, but this place was a complete disappointment from start to finish. The service was shockingly bad – staff were rude, inattentive, and acted like they didn’t want to be there. We had to wait forever just to get basic things like water or napkins.

The food? Absolutely awful. Most of the buffet was either cold, dry, or just plain tasteless. It looked like it had been sitting out for hours. Nothing felt fresh or worth the high price they charge. Even the desserts were stale and sad.

The characters walking around were rushed and barely interacted with the kids. Honestly, the way they treated families – especially the children – was unacceptable. This is supposed to be a Disney experience, but it felt more like a cheap cafeteria with Mickey ears slapped on top.

For the price, I expected a lot more. You’re better off skipping this place entirely. Total waste of time and money.

We loved our time at Hollywood and Vine. There are plenty of choices on the buffet for everyone. Our granddaughter enjoyed her interaction with the characters.

This was some of the worst food we had in Disney. We knew the price going in, and that we were mostly paying for the characters. However, the food was really, REALLY disappointing. Low-quality, bland, and some of it just looked really unappetizing. The lady working the carving station was pretty rude when I asked for a little bit more, since she only gave me a very tiny amount. It was not a very clean restaurant at all. We were pretty grossed out when we first sat down and I told my wife we should go somewhere else but decided to stay since we had a reservation and my son had already seen the characters and gotten excited. This was 100% a waste of time and money for us and is one of our biggest regrets from the trip. Its WAY too expensive for what it is and I would definitely not eat here again or recommend it to anyone. Save your money and eat somewhere else. There are other character dining experiences with much better food, atmosphere and cleanliness standards.

Would’ve gotten a better review, however the greeter at the time had a major attitude. I believe in Disney you should carry a better attitude. My wife’s business and my own are both client based and just because the person before aggravated you doesn’t mean you should treat the next person badly. Characters were good and food was decent.

The service was great and there were Disney characters who were also great. However, I have to say this Disney character dining was my least favorite out of all of the ones I’ve done which is all but Topalinos (which is on my list to do!). The bufffet had less than mediocre food yet the bill was over $500 for 4 adults, a 4 year old, a 3 year old, and an infant. I’d expect that from places like Ohana, Cape May, and Be our Guest who have exceptional food in addition to seeing characters or amazing experiences. I wouldn’t mind the bill being as high as those two dining options except for the fact that those options deliver exceptional meals. Disney Hollywood and vine had pretty gross meals except for the kids meals which I honestly liked better than the adults. Overall though, if you are trying to decide what character dining to do, I’d skip this one and save your money for a better quality meal. I personally love Cape May and Ohana for breakfast and Be Our Guest for dinner if you’re looking for some good character dining options.
