Kinfolks Chicken & More

Came in for dinner on Friday night while in old town for the car show based on the 4.8* Google reviews, and was very disappointed.

I ordered a plain burger, I emphasised to the unfriendly lady on the till please can it be plain - no salad or sauce, and my burger came out covered in tomatoes, onions and sauce. I took it back to the counter and again emphasised a plain burger, and it disappeared out the back, then came back again minus the tomato, but still covered in onions and sauce. If you're a picky/fussy eater or you want to customise your order - I'd avoid this place.
My husband had the chicken tenders, which were so dry and chewy he ate less than half.

For a meal that cost over $40, we threw most of it away. Despite old town being busy and lots of the other resturants being busy this place was empty - we should have taken that as a warning!!

So starting with the only negative that i have: My soda was expired and for quite a while. Honestly this is not a super big issue since I had my own drinks and if I was paying attention I could've had it replaced, but it's worth noting that they should probably go through their supply and get rid of all of their expired products.

Aside from that, my chicken sandwich and fries were very very very good, probably some of the best i've had from a chicken restaurant. Service was nice and the atmosphere felt nice to wait around in in a good area. Pricing felt pretty fair for what I paid for.

On 7/13/25
18 of us invaded this tiny place just as all the staff except 1 left. We ordered and the guy(so sorry I wish I’d got his name.) who was left all alone servers us the most delicious food I had the grilled chicken skewers- they were the most juiciest and most delicious grilled chicken I’ve eaten in a long time. They had a sweet bbq sauce with just a hint of heat. Thank you to our server for his patience and culinary skills.

Came in for dinner after a research conference. I ordered the tenders with the Kinfolk sauce. It is a sweet and spicy style sauce. This is one of the best chicken places I have been to. My palette is from Texas, so I enjoy flavourful and spicy food, and this was great. The only other thing I could want is some bleu cheese or ranch, and it would be peak chicken tenders. Also, great service and friendly staff!

This restaurant is located in Old Town, which is a shopping, dining and entertainment district in Kissimmee, Florida.
We just got to town and was looking for a restaurant that was unique to the area. We decided on Kinfolks.
We ordered wings and tenders. Our meals came with French fries. We got our wings tossed in the Kinfolks sauce, which was really good. We also got an order of wings tossed in lemon pepper sauce. Unfortunately, the lemon pepper was too overpowering with the lemon which made the wings a little unpleasant to eat.
Other than that, everything was good.
