Reservation for noon on a Sunday. Michele, the hostess, was very accommodating. We had our choice of tables(inside or out). Dining room is very spacious and nicely decorated. Our party of 4 all decided on the breakfast menu. Three ordered the American breakfast-many choices. One ordered eggs Benedict. Each selection was delicious. Beverages were refilled upon request. Pricing is quite moderate for an upscale restaurant. Very pleasant experience.
So, this morning was an unexpected pleasure. On a Google search we stopped in for breakfast. The food was great and the service was tremendous!! Jo, our waitress was so attentive and pleasant. She even made sure my service dog was happy. Jo- you are remarkable. Truly a Marriott/ Bonvoy superstar!
The Bacardi toast with salmon was one of the best!!! The avocado was lightly fried to perfection!

It's a lovely spot with delicious food and a nice view if you sit outside. The tines I've been there it's been severely understaffed; however, the staff are very hard working and very kind. I recommend the french toast.
We dined at Lakeside Kitchen and Bar on Christmas night. I’ve always wanted to see inside this hotel and dine. The entire staff at this hotel couldn’t have been more unwelcoming. No one greeted us or made eye contact. We were seated immediately and don’t see a waitress for a while. When we were greeted by her, her first remark was that she was incredibly busy and she had a lot of tables. (The dining room we could see was almost empty and there were 3 tables in total served by other staff.) I needed hot water for my baby so I could heat her bottle- that took forever. She had no knowledge of the seasonal cocktails and could not answer questions. She made the “so busy” remark so often to us that we felt BAD for taking up her time. My grandmother was so put off that she wanted to leave. We were not given more water. Or offered another glass of wine. Or coffee. Or dessert. Again, the dining room was pretty empty (three table in total) and she could not have gotten rid of us fast enough. When she finally brought the check, my husband put his card in the booklet. She came back a long time later and said “Oh, I forgot about you.” The food was very good. It’s a shame we will never eat here again because our service was so bad. I understand we chose to dine on a holiday, and maybe they were understaffed, but there were hardly any tables and a restaurant should be equipped to be busy and still give great service.

They have changed all the great things here to something not as great which is bizzare. The music was not playing Friday night as it says on the sign. The music Saturday morning was playing inside instead of outside where there is amazing weather. All of the tables under the patio roof have been moved under umbrellas where you are under the sun. Someone made decisions to change all the best things and they weren't for the best. Please change back to how it was December 2024, as it was absolutely perfect.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The entire experience was awful. My friends got engaged, and I made a point to let our waitress know so they could show them a little love — yet they failed miserably.
The staff was completely inattentive. They messed up three of our orders, our drinks were incorrect and took over 30 minutes to arrive, and our waitress was cold and dismissive the entire night. Our table was ignored despite the restaurant not being busy at all.
To make things worse, no one mentioned the automatic 20% gratuity, which clearly explains the bare-minimum effort from the staff.
Overall, this was the worst service I’ve had in a long time. I left extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Menu limited. The menu in the restaurant did not come close to the variety of offerings shown on the online menu we looked at before booking a reservation. Online menu showed a much greater variety. If we weren't so tired from traveling we would have gone elsewhere. Service and friendliness of our server was great.
This is my favorite place for brunch. Food is delicious, stuff is very welcoming and friendly.

Terrible food -- Menu has changed drastically to what is showing online. We planned to have paella and also the cauliflower steak - all have been removed from the menu. Also the Beast Burger no longer on the menu. One of my party had the chicken which was dry and another had the fish which was swimming in a sauce which actually had little or no flavor. The third person had the Mediterranean platter which at $20 wer three small pots of dip and some baby Naan Bread. We had gone for dinner and we were the only people in the restaurant - as we were finishing our main courses three moe people arrived... I definitely would never go there again. I would just say that the staff were very pleasant but the food is terrible.
Came by for a quick brunch. Staff were very kind, and menu has lots of tempting offerings. Monte Cristo Benedict was very good. Only gripe is that service felt slow.

It was amazingly intimate for me and my husband. Everything we asked prior to coming was provided (table by the lake at sunset) we had a great time. We will come again. We went here for our anniversary, and they gave us a dessert in the house, so thank you kindly for a memorable experience.
