Logan's Roadhouse

1 bartender/server for this side of restaurant. Very hot inside. Poor management.

So excited to be here with my family. Ordered prime rib, salad and sweet potato. It was cold. Asked to have it warmed up and food came back colder the second time. Asked for the manager. He came out and said he cooked it himself. All I wanted was a hot meal. He changed my meat option and the 3rd time was a charm. Food was now hot. By this time, everyone in my party had eaten their food. While he discounted our meal, it was still disappointing to know how service really doesn't matter anymore.

We had dinner there last night, steaks weren't very good, steaks were gray and dry. Filet wasn't worth it, broccoli was too well done. The only good things were the rolls and sweet potato. I wouldn't go back again.

Okay, this is a chain restaurant but hear me out. This is a really good Logan's. The steaks were great and cooked right. The food came out fast and the sides were generous. But here's what put it over the top: they had really good coffee. Beverages are often an afterthought. When you get a place that cares enough to get the coffee right, it is easy to see how the rest just falls into place. I highly recommend this location.

Food was good. Sat in the bar to eat and watch football game (they have six or seven screens which was nice). Although a struggle to get someone to change the channel. Bartender/Server must have been having a bad day..kinda grumpy including the way she spoke to co-workers. That said was attentive to getting my order to me.

I have never completed a google review for a restaurant but our experience at Logan’s this evening was extremely disappointing. I was truly excited to be back at Logan’s as I haven’t been since my childhood. My boyfriend and I were greeted by a pretty good waitress who took our drink order and brought bread to the table. But once we ordered our food everything went down hill. We sat for over 45 minutes to no food. Our waitress checked in and gave us false timelines as to when the food would come out with no results. We sat for a full hour and then asked for the manager. After explaining my discontent he rudely asked “are you done” in a dismissive tone. He again assured that our food would be out next but after another 30 minutes and countless other plates coming out to the tables surrounding us we could not withstand the wait any longer. We asked if we could be given a discount voucher for the lack of service but was denied by the manager Sherman. At the time of us leaving we sat in the restaurant waiting for our food for a full 1 hour and 45 minutes. After waiting years to be back at such a nostalgic place my memories were crushed with such a bad experience.

Service was strange. We were served cold fish and RAW prime rib. When we asked for a solution we were asked, “what do you want me to do, where are we at with this?” Then it was explained that some people would just be ok with the food being re-heated. The replacement food wasn’t good and this “ribeye” wasn’t edible. A “discount” was offered as a solution to this terrible food. Three tables around us either sent back or complained about food. This is NOT a quality steak restaurant by any means yet their prices would make you think so.

We were super excited to visit and to learn that Logan’s still had a location local to us. After visiting this restraunt we were truly disappointed, the service was horrible as we waited at least 10 mins with everyone at table without drinks, everyone received their entre and the one whom got a Cobb salad it did not come for at least 5 to 8 mins after the ones whom got a steak. My sons steak was ordered medium rare, it came out as medium well, sent back to wait 10 more minutes for them to bring out another the was well done. I ordered a sirloin well done and it tasted like mush that turns into powder. The manager never apologized, his true leadership of this restaurant truly reflected the service we received. My Family and I are truly not complainers and we hardly ever send food back. But the overall experience was absolutely horrible. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. They did take my sons steak off the bill after the 2nd attempt of not getting it right, and they discounted the sirloin that tasted like mush. But our bill was still $70 and overall experience was horrible. We will not return.

They closed the Logans by me, and we found one while out on a mini stay cation. While the 1st Filet was not cooked to perfection our server and manager on duty took care of us.

This restaurant used to be good years ago. However, over the past 2 years or so it has been just terrible. Service is extremely poor and the workers do not even seem to care. I would say logans is probably the worst restaurant on highway192...Black Angus, Longhorn, and Texas Roadhouse , if you are looking for a similar restaurant, are much better choices.

Best tasting and cooked (med well) steak I've had in a long time.
