The website said they were open today for lunch. We Uber'ed over there ($18 w/ tip), only to find they were closed. You'd better call to make sure they're open. Considering the number of other bad reviews on here, this is just one more bad one. Take your money elsewhere.

Food was ok, but service was absolutely TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Very slow service, only 1 water was served for our party of 9, no silverware, dishes and entrees were kept on one side of table and left for us to serve ourselves. No serving spoons either. At the end of dinner when expressed displeasure on service and not worth the entire $15 tip that was charged, the server went physical - banged the invoice folder on the table to the point of smashing it, and started screaming with borderline racial comments, and when I mentioned I'll video record him on my cell if he went any further he snatched my cell. At that point we had to call 911 and report him to police. We have an open police incident report with the waiter and the restaurant. I would never go to this restaurant nor will recommend anybody to go there at all. Worst experience I would give -5 stars if there was such an option

A little unassuming restaurant with fabulous Indian food. The spices were just right with lots of flavour. We loved the Saag curry lamb...yummy.

We stopped here as a family during a trip to Orlando. We were looking for something off the beaten path and authentic. This place was great. The food was excellent. The ambiance was okay and the service was better than average. We would come back and definitely would recommend to others looking for a legit Indian dinner.

Being from New Jersey it has always been easier for me to have indian restaurants around all the time. But while visiting Orlando I was really worried about Indian food near by as half of the family member thinks Indian food is comfort food for them. We found out about Maharaja Indian Restaurant. First of all it was our choice because they are open till 11:45. They're flexible with the recipes and they can make you how you like your food if you ask them. One of the delicious Indian food place I've tried in United States. Staff is very friendly and helping. Food from this restaurant played big role for our tiring Orlando trip. Would love to eat this food again whenever I'm in Orlando next.

Tables aren't too clean, but the food is legit! Totally worth stopping by if you care about food more than ambiance. Highly recommend it!!

Really bad customer service . Extremely rude staff who did not even attend to us. They had a badly leaking roof and were still open! We got a glimpse of the kitchen (as the door was wide open) and saw that the hygiene was questionable! Wonder if a Health Inspector has ever visited this place -they would be shut down immediately!! Do NOT eat here if you value your health.Never have seen such rude and obnoxious manager in any restaurant.
This place was terrible. The Employees did not even attend to us! Also there was a huge leak in the middle of the restaurant. My family and I also got a glimpse of the kitchen since the door was open. Plus most of the restaurants have certificates that say that they have been inspected and certified to serve the food but, they did not have it which made me think that this place is exactly like McDonald no hygiene and real food. If you want to live do not eat any of this food.

Food is great! Portions are a little small, restaurant is not the cleanest, but the food was very good and the staff is very nice and accommodating. It was very slow so it was nice and quiet and we got enough attention. The food is very fresh and has a home cooked taste, we highly recommend the butter chicken and the cheese naan!
