My husband and I dined for the first time last night. We were unsure of what to expect as reviews have been mixed. There were negative reviews from the decor, to the staff, to the food. We came in prepared to simply check the place out.
First, the decor is super cute. MILES above the last place that was there. There were TV's (as was noted in another review) but quite frankly, I didn't feel they took away from the decor. Quite the contrary. We really liked the way the place looked.
Secondly, the staff was SO nice. We never felt neglected on a busy Saturday night. In fact, we had more contact with the staff last night than we have at most places we frequented in the past. Our server, Drew and his trainee (Vic), were very attentive. The owner, Paul, stopped by to check on us and was very friendly and funny! We did wait for a table but again, it was a busy Saturday night and the wait was not terrible.
Finally...the food. We left STUFFED. We ordered a single cheesy garlic knot (our meal came with three regular knots as well as a salad) and the fried mozzerella. The fried mozzerella was definitely hand made and tasted great! The marinara sauce with it was tasty as well! That cheesy garlic knot will probably be ordered with every meal! So good! Then, we split (and I'm glad we did) the Chicken Parmasean/Fettuccine Alfredo. The flavors were amazing. The portions are huge. We couldn't finish it and our daughter even stopped in and ate some of the chicken and alfredo too. We did wait a bit also between our appitizer and our main course but for fresh food like this, it was worth it!
We will definitely be back. The pizzas we saw going to other tables looked so good! Glad to have such a great place so close to home!

I had a great experience at Mama Romanos. The restaurant looked clean and inviting, and the food was honestly so good. Our server, Mimie, was amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and made us feel really welcome the entire time. She has such a warm personality and took great care of us. Definitely recommend stopping in!

I have neen here 5 times because Solivita people have told me to give it another chance, but every time we have eaten here we have been incredibly disappointed. We've tried veal, chicken, pizza, and lasagna. The only thing that was good was the lasagna. The meat taste fake and is so thin it's not enjoyable and we ordered a sicilian pie yesterday and the middle part was undercooked and the outer slices were well, well done and very difficult to bite. In addition, the crust tasted fake almost styrofoam like. We will never go back here. I really would love to get a refund for what I spent yesterday. Even the garlic pepperoni rolls were terrible. They were cold and there was two very small thin slices of pepperoni on the inside with barely their cheese. Not worth the money. They need to get better quality food and someone who can actually cook Italian well. The Jersey spot in Kissimmee Blues this restaurant out of the water and even Olive Garden has better food.
