My wife and I were visiting Florida and wanted to try something new, so we decided to give this Venezuelan restaurant a shot based on the good reviews.
We were warmly greeted upon arrival, but the place was completely empty. Despite that, we decided to order. Unfortunately, several items on the menu were unavailable. We ordered two Pollo Gratinado plates (with rice, tostones, and salad), a coffee, and a tres leches cake. We were told it would be a 20-minute wait, but it ended up taking 43 minutes.
We had also picked up food from a nearby Filipino restaurant and we were staying 6 minutes away, and even though we grabbed that one earlier, it was still warm, unlike our food from here, which was cold when we got back to the hotel.
The chicken itself was flavorful and juicy, but the rice was dry and hard, the plantains were just okay (could use a sauce or seasoning), and the salad was bland. The coffee had a burnt taste. The saving grace of the meal was the tres leches cake (otherwise I would’ve rated 2 star), it was moist, perfectly balanced sweetness and very delicious, helped salvage the experience somewhat.
We were excited to try Venezuelan food for the first time, so this was a bit of a letdown. Maybe it was just an off day, and I’m sure there are better dishes on the menu, but based on this visit alone, it was a disappointing experience.
Had higher expectations as being a Venezuelan, food was just OK. Very good service from waitresses, owner wonders around without greeting his customers or asking for feedback.
Good and plenty of food. Good service
Excellent food! The piñata sweet bread, the full cheese bread, the French bread ummm transported me to my beloved Maracaibo, in addition to the attention of its super attentive and friendly owners, I definitely recommend it. Thank you for your attention.

Unfortunately, my experience at this Venezuelan food restaurant was disappointing. From the beginning the service was poor - they served food to tables that arrived after us which is frustrating and unprofessional.
As for the food, the Venezuelan pavilion was not only poorly presented, but it also did not have the authentic flavor one expects from such an iconic dish. To make matters worse, the rib soup I ordered came with parsley instead of cilantro, a pretty basic mistake for Venezuelan cuisine.
I definitely do not recommend this place. There are many better options to enjoy Venezuelan cuisine in other restaurants.
A free dessert doesn't solve a bad moment.

We stopped in with a party of 3 for some empanadas. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was nothing short of delicious. We all really enjoyed the experience and would definitely return to try new items, as none of us were well versed in Venezuelan cuisine.
