We just moved to Solivita and I wanted to love Mosaics. Sadly I did not. The prime rib had very little flavor but that might be because it was so thin you could literally read through it. The au jus was cold and service was slow, with only 4 tables filled. I should have known it was not going to be a good night when the hostess rolled her eyes at me when I told her we had a reservation. We come from farm country and when you order prime rib you actually get a piece of meat not deli sliced sandwich meat. Overpriced for what you get.

I would have rated the food.... If we had gotten the food. Our reservation was at 6:30 pm at 8:16 pm we had not even received the appetizers. Don't go there!!!!

My wife and I try to have dinner here once a week when we are in town. The food has been excellent and we love being able to take our golf cart to a restaurant. Some evenings the wait staff is short and very busy. This is a problem in many local restaurants. I always bring my own wine so that has not been an issue for me. I am happy to say in the last month their wine selections have significantly improved. Overall our experience has always been very positive.

My only gripe is their selection of wine. Having said that, for a fee you can bring your own bottle with you if you choose.
We made reservations. When we got there they said sorry this is a private function. No one bothered to call and let us know our reservations had been canceled to accommodate this function. I have seen posts that this happens often. It appears this is only a restaurant when they don’t have private functions!! Beware… Your reservations mean nothing!

We had a surprisingly decent meal here during a recent stay with my Mom back in November. Place was packed, but our wait for a table was not terribly long and we sat in the main dining room towards the back. TVs abound here, so watching a game would be pretty easy. My wife and I ordered to dinners to share...a cheeseburger and also a fish-n-chips platter. Both plates came with the usual accompaniments, the burger had fries on the side and was easily big enough to split and the fish came with a side of creamy cole slaw. The servers were clearly overwhelmed given the size of the rooms and the amount of people ordering, but the food arrived hot and fresh and we enjoyed both dishes. Glad my Mom finally took us over there to give it a try.
