A Hidden Gem in Animal Kingdom. Mr. Kamal’s is one of those hidden gems in Disney’s Animal Kingdom that’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention—but totally worth seeking out. Tucked along the path between Asia and Africa on the north side of the park, this small snack stand doesn’t have a huge menu, but what it does offer is seriously tasty. The standout item here is definitely the seasoned fries, which come with a selection of flavorful dipping sauces that take them to the next level. They’re crispy, well-spiced, and perfect for sharing (or not, if you’re feeling selfish. I won’t judge you). I ordered the chicken dumplings. They have a dark dipping sauce that goes quite well with it. There’s no real seating area, just a few benches and tables nearby, but that kind of adds to the “wander and snack” vibe that seems to fit Animal Kingdom so well. It’s a great stop if you’re in the mood for something savory and satisfying without committing to a full meal. The people were nice and the prices were reasonable for the park. Overall, Mr. Kamal’s is one of those low-key, high-reward food spots that makes exploring the park even more enjoyable.

Tried the fries...really bad. Its just fries with paprika/chili seasoning(?). They give you a small squeeze of sauce. Just get normal fries but avoid the kamal one
Food: 4- Sooooo good! There’s a nook to the left with a great view of the tree and some funny ducks. Service: 3- Just a quick service but polite. Disney: 4- Nothing bad to say about this place!

Service here was friendly but the food was not what we expected it to be. The name of the place "Kamal" which is an arabic name made me think it would be arabian food. They used to have hummus + falafel + samosas. As we arrived there I noticed their menu only has 2 options? Dumplings that are more east asian like and the fries were super salty and the spices wouldn't fit with the arabian flavoring. I wish we decided to go eat elsewhere because that was too expensive for what it was.

I wouldn’t spend more than $5 on an order of seasoned French fries if it weren’t at a theme park. But I got hungry at the wrong place and ended up getting the seasoned Fries from Mr. Kamal at the Animal Kingdom.The seasoned fries was okay. It tasted like French fries with a lot of Aleppo Sumac. Nothing special but it wasn’t bad.But the outdoor dining was so special. Tables and chairs are beautiful crafted. And the adjacent waterway & surrounding landscape are calming and picturesque. Anything, including Mr. Kamal’s fries, would taste awesome here.
