Old Hickory Steakhouse

The service was incredible! Attentive, kind and helpful. The crab cakes were delicious, as was the French onion soup, however both the filet and NY strip were disappointing. The NY strip, ordered medium, was very overcooked and was more than well done. The filet was chewy and lacked flavor. The carrot cake was amazing, and the chocolate cake was average.

The food and service was outstanding. The quality of their products and execution of the dishes were superb. If you're looking for a top notch steakhouse in Orlando this is the place to go to.

Our experience at Old Hickory was beyond expectation. It all starts with the staff who are top notch and true professionals. Sally not only ensured we were taken care of but went the extra mile in everything she did. The attention to detail from her and other staff is exceptional and is what a true dining experience should be. The food is phenomenal but the service made our night. We cannot wait to return again! Thank you for making our vacation one to remember!

The staff was amazing. It was a quiet Monday night. The bartender took the time to chat with us. Food was great. Wine selection was top notch.

Sally was our server and she was a delight. We celebrated our anniversary and everyone we came in contact with were very friendly. The cheeseboard to crème brûlée was phenomenal.

Everyone who works at this restaurant is incredibly nice and thus, the service is excellent. We (53m, 47f) ordered the 8 cheese cheeseboard and it was amazing! We probably could've just eaten the cheeseboard for dinner but also ordered petit filets and the creamed corn which is a shareable side. The wine list is extensive and has all price points. We've eaten here 3 times now and every time is fantastic The ambiance is nice so this is a great place for a special dinner.

Yeoung was an excellent server paying attention to every detail. Our filet was cooked to perfection along with the au gratin potatoes. Yeoung also brought delicious chocolates for dessert!

The wedge salad was awful. It was not a steakhouse wedge. Smoked bacon was the only flavor and they had lots of other things not normally on a wedge. That's gets 1 star. The scallops were great 5 stars & my martini was good 4 star. If this was a mid range restaurant I would have given it 4 stars but being ‘high end' it lacked and only gets a 3 star review.

We go to upscale restaurants fairly regularly, and, it has been a while since we've had such exceptional service. Martha from start to finish was outstanding. The food, perfect, cocktails, fantastic. The ambience was very nice as always. We always make it a point to come back when we're in town and will continue to do so. Now we found our favorite server too!

Amazing service by Alex for our anniversary dinner. He was knowledgeable about wine and helped us pick a great bottle. The food was also on point! The filet was cooked perfectly even though it was a thicker cut. I wasn't 100% crazy about the potato's au gratin because they were a little undercooked but the flavor of the cheese was good so we still enjoyed it. We couldn't decide between desserts so we got both the carrot cake and dark chocolate cake and both were a hit! Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back! Cheers to Alex! He was great and made our night!

We had an unforgettable dining experience here for my husband's birthday. The service was next-level; from the personalized steak knife presentation to the detailed explanations of our charcuterie board. Everyone, from the hostess to the servers, made us feel like VIPs. The steak? Incredible, doesn't matter if you get the priciest cut or the most affordable. They even let us sample wine before deciding and surprised my husband with a birthday dessert! The bread and honeycomb butter were perfection. It is pricey, but 1000% worth it for a special occasion. So glad we stayed in the resort for dinner!

I chose the Gaylord Palms to propose to my now Fiance, and on the second night of our stay we visited the Old Hickory Steakhouse to celebrate our engagement. Everything about our experience was perfect. The restaurant has great ambience and feels like a special place to dine. The food was absolutely phenomenal, between two appetizers, our entrees, sides, and dessert, it was probably the best meal I have had for as long as I can remember, and my now Fiance feels the same way. But the best thing about our experience was by far the service. Our waiter, Eric, did an amazing job taking care of us. All of his recommendations were on point, he was friendly and fun to talk to, and upon hearing that we were celebrating our engagement, went above and beyond to make the night as special as it could be. Towards the end of our meal, we wanted to catch the light show in the atrium from our room with a balcony with ten minutes to spare, but still wanted dessert. Upon hearing this, Eric immediately rushed to get us our dessert to go and the check, gave us a very heartfelt congrats and goodbye, and we managed to make it to the light show just in time. We could not have asked for a better server to celebrate this amazing moment in our lives, thank you so much Eric!

Alex, our server for the evening, was nothing short of amazing! Food was great, all things were great!
