The food was way better than I was expecting

What a spectacular atmosphere at this place. High ceilings, an elevated hung classic car, hub caps on the walls, bright lights, in a clean and open layout. The staff were very friendly and they had a huge menu with specials. We ended up signing up with their rewards program. I don’t think we ordered their popular items. I had the Portillo Bowl with the Italian Beef with green peppers. It was plain. Maybe I should’ve eaten it with something else, or I should’ve ordered something else. Don’t know. But it wasn’t good. But next time we’re in town we might consider trying it out again. Maybe a burger or some type of hotdogs. Outside there’s lots of free parking and it’s located right off the main road Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.

Not the best I’ve ever had but pretty good.

Dogs were good but not snappy. Beef was dry and not much flavor. No Au Jus. Points for large covered drive through but otherwise disappointing

Huge portillo fans. We had a great time and some fantastic chicago dogs. Staff was friendly and attentive and got everything we needed correct.

Good evening, I want to thank the entire restaurant team for helping me, I'll tell you a little about what happened to me, I forgot my wallet in the restaurant, and when I called to see if it was in the place, they helped me confirm that they kindly kept it for me , protecting all my documents and when I picked it up, everything was actually stored there, I am infinitely grateful for the good gesture towards my person, God bless you.

I was having a hard time getting a mayo packet open,started losing hope, but then Ms. Dee came along and said "Not today Satan!" (Jk she didn't say that, but she did bring me 2 opened packs of mayo and she was so sweet, this is my new favorite Portillos).

A huge shout out to Adam placed my order through website Doordash failed to send a driver and Adam personally on Halloween drove and delivered my food. I truly appreciate his extra effort and willingness to make sure Portillos fulfilled their commitment. I wish Doordash had the same dedication. Great job Adam! Employees take notice this is how business is done right. You say it, then you make it happen. Performance not promises!

Finally got to try Portillo's and it was worth the hype. The food is filling and takes you right back to the Midwest. The beef sandwiches are large and excellent quality. I got the strawberry shake and it was surprising to taste a generous amount of real chunks of strawberry in it. We will be back.

As a former Illinois resident, getting a taste of home nearby was a great find. The food is the same peak quality you get in the Portillo's I frequented up North, and the eclectic decor inside has the same old diner feel while adding in a touchof FL with a giant neon gator sign. Wheelchair accessibility: Quite a few wheelchair parking spots, but the parking was the about the length of one lane of traffic away from the front door. Not a long walk, but spots are not directly in front of the entrance.

First of all, their interior looks nice and fun.
This branch is especially located close to Disney resort so we recommend dining here if you visit Orlando area for your vacation from a foreign country for an American experience as it tastes very similar to a 1950s style dinner. It was a fun experience especially outside of some of the parks and really tourist areas.

I wanted to give this place a fair try as I heard a lot of good things about it. I used the kiosk to order mine and my wife’s food which was easy and fast to use. From the time we sat to wait for our food to me picking it up at the pick up counter was maybe 10min tops. There’s a lot of indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. I ordered a beef and cheddar croissant and my wife got the chopped salad. Her salad she said was great and tasted great. As for the beef, the croissant was extremely soggy on the bottom ripping open as soon as I lifted it, the beef was a fistful of just beef put on to the bread and just a dab a cheddar if that. The flavors of the beef and cheddar were great however maybe one bite worth of it. The rest I threw out because of how soggy it was and had almost no cheese on it. The onion rings were spot on and tasted great. The value I feel like I overpaid for this beef croissant.

This has become one of my favorite counter service restaurants. Food and service has been awesome every time I go. Not having grown up with the Italian beef sandwich, I am in love. It's so good!
