Today we ate at a highly recommended local place, the Cafe Puerto Rico. I had chicken mofongo and the others in our group all chose chicken in creole sauce. I've never eaten mofingo before but it's a bowl made of mashed plantain. To me mofongo is somewhat bland; I've really no more to say about mofongo. I must say that the chicken in creole sauce was great. The food is authentic Puerto Rican and the prices are fair. I enjoyed the ambiance as well; the service was...
We came with a party of 7 and were treated like royalty, excellent service. Food came out quickly, and was delicious... They are so hospitable and the place feels cozy and cultural, made me miss a visit and time I spent in Puerto Rico. Don't be intimidated great for English and Spanish speakers, the fritters (acapurria) were amazing and the shrimp scampi was delicious...give this place a visit... we would definitely go back as well!
Nice cafe with Puertorican traditional food and one of the best Mofongo in Kissimmee. Very warm and friendly staff. They immediately warned in menu to wait a long time your order, but the food will be very delicious and this is so.I highly recommend this small restaurant with family atmosphere.
