Went with family recently and honestly I have no idea why you have to prebook this 3 months in advance, it is honestly not worth the hype at all. Firstly we arrived at 6, in November that means it's already dark, and nothing is lit up, so don't expect to see any animals at all. Secondly the food is average at best, the sharing breads starter is okay, nothing special, for mains I had the butter chicken which genuinely was no better than a microwave one from Walmart, my partner had the beef, whilst the meat was tender the flavour was just average again! Considering once you add the tax and mandatory tip in each mains course sets you back close to $50 do not waste your time and money, this restaurant is not worth the hype. I really don't understand why this place is full every night and you have to book so far in advance, if you're going whilst it's light outside and you have kids that want to see the animals etc I get the appeal, other than that I would stay well clear of this place.
A must for any Orlando holiday. The bread service and curry were the best food we had in 2 weeks. Service first class. The atmosphere and setting totally made it for us. Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom was beautiful and lovely to sit out on the verandah watching the animals before eating.
Nice ambiance and S African wines., but our dinner was disappointing . It was our last meal at Disney World after 7 days . The pork dish was overcooked , so dried out , and my short rib dinner only had two pieces of meat and two pieces of fat. After talking to the manager the next day , she credited us for the two meals. Thank you
Best cuisine, the spices and flavors pop. Excellent naan bread. We got the Indian Service Bread and the Lamb Kafka. Excellent!

I read so many good things about this place so wanted to make sure we tried it before we left. I appreciated the review that mentioned this was on Kidani Village because we Ubered it here and it was helpful to know that. We came here for lunch and loved it! We got:
*Bread service (5/5) - Warm and delicious with lot of different dipping sauces from mild to spicy. Everyone liked trying the different options!
*Butter Chicken (5/5) - So flavorful with the perfect balance of spices. I was surprised to have this here since I am used to many good Indian restaurants back home. Highly recommend.
*Lamb Vindaloo (5/5) - This was amazing! So tender and bursting with flavor. The host recommended this and I’m so glad we got it. Definitely get this!
*Lentil Daal (4/5) - This was a solid daal
*Rajma Masala (3/5) - This one was a little bland - maybe because everything else was so flavorful.
*Wilde-best Wildebeest (5/5) - If you like chocolate you will def like this dessert! Very rich and decadent.
*Mango Lassi (1/5) - this was the only thing we were disappointed with. It tasted like mango puree with water. No yogurt and def wasn’t creamy like lassi is supposed to be. Skip this one.
This meal was great and I would highly recommend to anyone considering. Skip Tiffins and come here! (We tried Tiffins too and it was eh). We did ask for a table by the window to be able to see any animals and was told they were all taken but they found us a partial view by the window. Maybe because we had a late lunch the animals were all napping but it’s ok.

Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village was a wonderful dining experience. The food was flavorful and beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting with great views. Our server was professional and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly. The only downside was a delay at check-in, as my Disney app check in tool sent me a text but didn’t go through to the host and she implied it was my fault. Her attitude was not appreciated and put my partner and I in a bad mood.

We’ve heard such good things about this place but we were really disappointed.
Check in was very crowded with people cutting in front of one another. We were basically shoved out of the way by another family that had missed their reservation after waiting our turn.
Seating was meh. I didn’t expect a window seat by any means but our booth was completely faced away from the windows. We were facing the kitchen.
Food was very underwhelming and not authentic at all really. Quality was not great either. My husband ordered the butter chicken and I played it safe with the strip steak. His was somewhat bland and not very good. I ordered my steak medium and ended up with medium well/well done. Sent it back and after quite a wait it returned still overcooked. It was offered to send it back again but had already taken quite a while and we wanted to be done for the evening after a long day. Husband was disappointed we didn’t get to actually eat together. I insisted he eat his before it got too cold. The quality of the meat was awful. It reminded me of a terrible cut of Walmart meat. More of what I’d expect from Applebees or Dennys.
It’s been a while since we’ve dined at Disney but this was definitely not up to the standards we thought we could expect. We usually get so excited to dine at the different restaurants on our vacation. Our server did take the item off our bill but by that point the experience/evening out was past saving. This is definitely a one and done for us.

Great restaurant. Not normally a fan of Nan so I didn’t order the bread with various dipping sauces. Table next to us had it and it looked really good. They enjoyed 5 pieces of the bread and said it is so filling that they just shared another item.
The special manhattan had scotch, Cointreau, orange bitters and fig compote. Sounded more like a version of an Old Fashioned. But a decent drink. Wouldn’t order it again though. Rather have an old fashioned.
The chef did a great job of modifying recipes to handle my wife’s onion and garlic allergy. She had lamb loin with roasted potatoes and Brussel sprouts. I had the menu version. Both were excellent!! Also saw the breakfast menu while there and it looked really good.

First time here and we were blown away by everything. The food had an amazing variety of wonderful flavors and we'd reorder anything we tried which included the signature bread service, goan seafood curry, and braised beef. Our server Tracy was excellent and provided great recommendations and descriptions of the menu options. It doesn't hurt that you have views of zebras, giraffes and other safari animals right out the window.

The restaurant is located down stairs at the far entrance to the hotel. This is a big resort, so if you are not familiar with the layout as at the gate house to find the entrance. Get the bread service. You get 5 flavors of bread and dipping sauces from mild to hot 🔥. The service is great and it is a rare place at Disney that is quite and restful. We had a table at the window and saw lots of animals. Had a great time, just make sure to have reservations if not staying at the hotel and driving your own car to get parking. The parking is free with a reservations.

Go for the bread service and you’ll be happy. It’s a fun, unique, and delicious experience. It’s the perfect starter to a great meal. The drinks, samosas, and entrees were all super yummy. The service was a little slow and we don’t recommend the sangria, but other than that a good time was had by all!

Waiting for an extra 15 minutes when you have reservations is annoying. Then each food option came out decently slow. Not ideal when you are spending $200 for a family of four. You expect everything to be perfect.
Bread service was awesome. Whole fam loved it.
