We visit this restaurant every disney trip. The bread service is amazing. Large portions, delicious meals, friendly staff.

Food: 5- The bread service is as good as claimed. I could eat it every day. We also tried the Vindaloo Pork and it was amazing.
Service: 5- Our waiter was great and we were just in the lounge. He was very friendly and attentive!
Disney: 3- I did expect this place to be higher priced but it wasn’t too bad. Better bang for your buck than Jiko or Boma, and better food.

We came in for late lunch on a Monday. We did not have reservations and there was a 30 min wait for walk ups. We went to bar area and found open table. My wife has cinnamon allergy and chef came over and went over all options she could eat.
The bar area was rather busy but the bartender, who was also our waiter was on top of it and provided us with great service.
Wife got the chicken pita and I got the burger. Both were very good.
We both had desserts and they were also very good. Overall it was a very enjoyable lunch even without the view of the animals.

We dined here last week for the second time and it was even better than I remembered. The bread service is phenomenal and worth making a reservation on its own. The pork vindaloo was flavorful and spicy (in a good way!). The Giraffe Tower Mousse surprised us with how tasty it was - I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes bananas. Of the table service restaurants we dined at this trip, Sanaa was my favorite and I can’t wait to come back in the future!

My husband and I had lunch here today. My Tandoori chicken was tasty enough, and our server was nice and attentive. However, I would never recommend this establishment. We were packed in like sardines. The diners on either side of me were closer to me than my husband across the table. Forget trying to have a conversation with him. I know all about the lives of the strangers next to me though. If I am paying $75 for lunch, I don’t want to be crammed in like this. This restaurant is touted as a place to view animals from the windows. Most of the windows were screened shut. They tried to seat a pair of women at one of the tables next to us, and the ladies flat out said “no”, we are not eating there, “it is too packed in”. Smart on their part. They moved on to the next 2 diners. You shouldn’t have to ask not to be placed at tables so crammed. Who wants this, really?

The bread service was delicious and lived up to the hype. However, the main entrees are just so-so - not bad, but I have definitely had better Indian-style cuisine other places. Braised beef was a bit blubbery and the lentil daal was a bland. The mango lassi "smoothie" was more mango smoothie than a true mango lassi. All that being said, I would go back just for the bread service.

Dining at Sanaa in Animal Kingdom was a standout experience! The restaurant offers a unique cultural journey, blending African and Indian flavors in a setting that truly feels like a safari. I particularly enjoyed the lamb dish, which was perfectly seasoned and tender. The banana dessert was a delightful finish to the meal, with its flavors beautifully balanced. My friend had the curry and was equally impressed, finding it flavorful and satisfying. The service was exceptional—friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. Sanaa delivers a memorable dining experience that combines great food, ambiance, and top-notch service.

Sanaa a wonderful gem for breakfast at the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge. A host/hostess greets you, gives you a menu and you place your order at the bar and then pick your seat in the restaurant. We sat near the window for the best viewing of the animals.

Opens at 7:30 closes at 11 plenty of time to grab a breakfast hash or French toast with bananas brûlée, a latte and free coffee refills at the coffee bar all while you view giraffes and water beasts out the window.

The prices are reasonable around $12-$15 per person for breakfast. Instead of characters, you have real animals rather than characters to greet you :) It was so peaceful, one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time at Disney.

After breakfast go for a stroll, and view the giraffes and a few other animals much closer for a fun surprise with the kids.

Go! Enjoy the peace, food, coffee, Cast Members and animals!

Food service atmosphere just simply Excellent! Started with the bread service delicious.
I had the Pork Vindaloo with sukuma wiki, the wife and daughter both also had their own Potjie Inspired, another daughter the Zanzibari vegetable curry with shrimp. Plus a few desserts.
The server Don really made the meal extra pleasant, we had never ate at a restaurant like this or these dishes and it was like he was a walking encyclopedia from everything on the bread service to the meals described everything in detail and with enthusiasm.

I found Sanaa on one of the travel blogs while planning our most recent Disney trip and thought my kids would love it. Everything about the experience was so great. We requested a table by the window and were promptly sat right next to a window facing a couple giraffes and a few other animals. I tried the bread service and the butter chicken. The kids meals were fantastic and the Timone grubs were such a fun and yummy way for the kids to end our vacation. I wish I remembered our server’s name but she said she had worked there for 3years and was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. She patiently described some of the bread dips and offered excellent menu options.

Kid-friendliness: Great child friendly option and the Timone grubs were such a fun surprise!
