I went with my family. Enjoyed all the food and drinks. Food was slow coming out but well worth it! Yummy. Tried a little of everything on the menu desserts too. All steaming hot and well prepared flavorful. Will be back!

Very disappointed. I was driving around to look for a new restaurant to try. I just left this restaurant and I can say first impressions count and I would not be going there again nor would I recommend. It was empty when I first walked in, waited about 2-3 minutes before I was greeted. A lady came over and I asked her for a menu I said I was ordering to go. She told me to have a seat at the bar.Another lady greeted me at the bar as I reviewed the menu. I told her I would try the one order of the chicken tacos and an order of the beef tacos. I waited about 15 minutes for the food. While I was waiting she asked if I wanted something to drink I said I would take a bottled coke and a bottled sprite “to go” with my order. When the food came and she handed me my receipt I reviewed it and the total was $40.09… I was wondering how it got so high so quick, As the 3 tacos per meal were listed as $12.99. On the receipt there was a $5.75 gratuity charge. I asked her if that was automatically added and she said yes, “always at the bar…” I paid my bill. I didn’t think about it till after I was walking out, but I didn’t buy any alcoholic drinks and she only took my “to go order” so I’m not sure why there is that gratuity “automatically” added. I honestly feel ripped off and I honestly don’t believe it is an automatic charge, I’ve never heard of that before. She didn’t make me any drinks. Aside from that when we ate the food I was disappointed even more. There was no flavor it was less than basic. I could have gone to the food truck in the same plaza or even Taco Bell and I feel I would have enjoyed their food more.

This looks like a typical Mexican restaurant but is actually pretty authentic Puerto Rican food. Server was friendly and helpful, service was reasonable, prices reasonable for tourist area. I'll be back.

Very flavorful. A little over priced but we're in the tourist district. Best fried grouper I've ever had. Lightly breaded (can taste the garlic) soft and flaky.

Awesome food! So much to choose from. My wife ordered the chicken nachos and oh my the size of the plate. There were three of us and barely ate half of the order. I had the soft steak tacos and they were great. Knowledgeable staff. We will be back.

While on vacation, we decided to eat somewhere we had never ate before. The establishment was nice. Our waitress was sweet but the food was horrible. After ordering steak tacos. My husband, brother, and myself ended up getting burnt steak tacos. No flavor to the food at all. Just a charred taste. When asked if they had soft corn tortillas, they said no. Hard corn shells or flour tortillas. It's sad to say but Taco Bell is better then this place. Not to mention when I asked for unsweetened tea and Splenda ( my brother is diabetic and I don't do a lot of sugar) they had no kind of sweetener at all for people who couldn't do sugar. My brother ended up getting a Coke zero but I also cannot drink carbonated drinks so I drank unsweetened tea.I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Decided to give try this place after reading through reviews and seeing that other people enjoyed it besides the 2/5! This is a Puerto Rican style take on Mexican food, which is a limited menu, and then other Puerto Rican style plates! I opted for pastor tacos, with a PR twist, which consisted of mashed potatoes, pico, and lettuce (I opted for no cheese). These tacos were tasty to my delight! Obviously they don't have the authentic Mexican flavor, but I still enjoyed them nonetheless! My significant other got the chicken tacos, also PR, and they were pretty good also. The tacos are served either with a soft or hard shell and with a 3 count for $12.99, they were pretty loaded and worth it in my perspective! Let's move onto the drinks! The drinks here definitely do the trick. I ordered a passion fruit mojito, which was so refreshing and snuck up on me faster than I thought it would! I also had some of my significant others rum runner and let me tell you that drink was loaded with alcohol haha! Drinks are on the cheaper side! Cocktails seem to range from $8-12 and they have a wide variety from specialty cocktails to regular ones! So I would definitely give this place a try if I'm the area. Ignore the rating!! The staff was very friendly, service was fast, and the place appeared to be clean also!! I would definitely come back to try some of their other items because I can assure you this place smelled so good when everyone around started getting their food!

Best piña colada in the area. Big portions. Very nice waitress. (She speaks Spanish and wear glasses). Very attentive to our needs. Not sure if music was live or not but was great repertoire. The only thing is that you have to choose from a selection of cakes in order to get the staff to sing happy birthday to you. Understandable when busy of course.

The food had no flavor, do not order fish tacos mine was not fully cooked. Others in our party got beef tacos and meat no flavor and asked for additional sauce and got tomato paste. Never have I been so disappointed in a meal. They took off the fish tacos but still a Mexican restaurant with food no flavoing. Gorden Ramsey would have field day here on just no flavor in the food.

It was okay. The cheese dip is what is just melted cheese with red sauce and we added the chorizo top. Drinks were good. My honey liked his. Mine has too much purée in it, but they are strong which is a good factor. Downside it's hella loud in here. I am legally deaf with hearing aids and it was super loud and muffle. Don't even know who was our waitress she only came over three time the whole time. It was eh.

Terrible place with nasty staff and owner is a douche bag. Spend your money else where

Let's start with seating, table was sticky/ greasy. Appetizer came out with food after 30'minutes. Service was okay ish. Except hostess seemed rude. Taco meat has good flavor but the quesadillas were soggy and Mexican rice is really bland. Not to mention our "side" of mash potatoes was in a dressing container. (Small). This is also taking into consideration that there's literally a club upstairs playing music louder then the restaurant. There's much better places to go in this area.

Delicious food! Started with passionfruit mojitos, which I highly recommend, with octopus salad. Large potion with big chunks of octopus. For dinner we had the fried snapper. Fish was moist and tostones were tasty!! We are locals and will return?
