Visited the truck while it was at a food fair in Pinellas County. Ordered the empanadillas, alcapurrias and the Caribbean Sushi Roll. The sushi was amazing! I’ve had sushi all over Pinellas County and I have to say this roll was so delicious I had to come back the next day for more!

The employees are rude and sick. They were making unprofessional and invited comments regarding my appearance and were looking at my inappropriately. The owner should do something about those employee who are not good people and definitely not good for the business. The food was okay but how to even enjoy after the experience with the employees.

We ordered our food at 7:11pm, they gave us a beeper to let us know when our food was ready. We went up after like 20 minutes of waiting to see if our food was ready because we noticed a ton of people who ordered after us get their food before us. They said our beeper will let us know, and we went back to sit down. A WHOLE 45 MINUTES LATER, we went back to say we've been waiting a RIDICULOUSLY LONG TIME for just 1 order. They asked to see the receipt and gave us cold food, and said that they've been calling us for a long time. First of all, NO, they haven't. Second, our beeper NEVER went off. We were NEVER NOTIFIED that our food was ready. We went back to get a remake because the food was cold, and one of the guys took the food in the plastic container and STUCK IT IN THE MICROWAVE. They handed it back to us with PLASTIC MELTED ON IT. Horrible service, I highly do NOT recommend coming here. We didn't even want the food anymore after that point. We realized the staff is just incompetent and doesn't care about quality service. We got a refund and left after wasting our time waiting on them to do literally anything.

I loved the Churrasco roll!! It was DELICIOUS and exactly what I needed. A little pricey, but we knew what to expect coming to the food trucks. It’s become a staple for tourists. A little tip - please have soy sauce handy
they didn’t have any when I went.

I took my family to eat Alcapurrias to the food trucks so we stopped by The sushi Boricua , The man that took our orders had a rude attitude, no face expression at all, we felt like we were bothering him. Also I don’t mind to spend money on food but 90$ dollars for a sushi roll, 4 alcapurrias and 3 lemonades? Man! I will never go back to that place. No thank youuu

After a while I decided to try this food truck again. Bad idea.
1. They personnel are not boricua and very rude. I guess they sold it.
2. The guy there said he was on his break. Lol
3. Half of the menu wasn’t available including the drinks.

When they were at the previous location it was excellent. If you want to be treated disrespectful and pay overprice sushi this is your place. If not find another place to eat sushi. Like Griller PR. Best place so far.

I came here with my sister for the first time and had to choose from so many food trucks. I've always wanted to eat Rican Sushi. All in all it's very good and very tasty but I wish the sushi were warmer especially the ones with meat in them. They are all very nice and the humongous lemonade was great. We had The Titanic which was 3 rolls. We had the Churrasco roll, the Mofongo roll and the PR roll. All of them were delicious. If they serve the rolls warmer it would be even better. I don't know if it's supposed to be served cold but that was a no no for me. If you are ever in the area go it's worth the trip.

It was a cold Saturday night and all I wanted wanted was Puerto Rican sushi. After over an HOUR waiting with one person in front of me
..I received my ice cold sushi. The girl behind the counter was rude and had some smart comments to make. All the hype was not worth it at all. The best part was the lemonade which was giant and delicious. But $20 for some cold, bad attitude made sushi? NAH. PAL CARA

I had high hopes for this place, lady was rude just left me there waiting to order looking at me like I was an idiot, then she says 30 to 35 minute wait... After an hour I get cold sushi roll mind it is a 20 dollar roll, some unseasoned crab alcapurria, the only good thing was the lemonade, my friend had to wait for an hour for cold loaded fries, overall a horrible experience. I've had a better experience from gas station sushi.

We ordered empanadas and did not get what was expected because when trying to order the guy didn’t understand anything we were trying to ask. We then got nothing of what we wanted and when asking for a refund we were denied and threw the food in the trash. So all in all, we will not be back. Super low quality customer service and not being able to communicate with your customers is kind of like how do you think things will run smoothly then? Another food truck we got food from a lady had to finish her phone call before she could take our order. We won’t be back so I guess if you’re okay with getting whatever they serve then go there.
