Taco Maker Kissimmee

I happened to be in the area and found this place on John Young Pkwy just on the north side of Vine/192 and thought WTH... always up to trying new places.
It's in a strip mall and boasts a pretty big dining area with a walk up counter to order your food... no booths but ample tables and chairs. The place is clean and has a wide selection of platters, combos and party selections.
I started out my first time with a jumbo taco (it's an extra long taco probably equivalent to 2 regular size) and a bean and cheese burrito.
No frills that's for sure and that's okay...I got what I ordered. The taco shell was crisp and unbroken unlike what you get at the popular fast food bell. It was a basic ground beef, lettuce, Sour cream and tomato fare... no cheese which i found odd... but it still was delicious anyway. Next time I'll ask for cheese.
The burrito was delicious as well. The refried beans were perfectly squishy inside a fresh (not store-bought) tortilla with plenty of cheese and a light sprinkle of fresh onion on the inside.
Add a bottomless medium drink all for 12 bucks and I was highly impressed!!
There is a certain taste I look for with my Mexican food and this place hit the nail on the head.
I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE!!

Taco Maker was pretty good. The service was fantastic.
You can see them while they prepare your fool. And that's a great thing. You're taking see, it's a great place to go eat. You can go in and sit down and eat if you want to or you can get take out.

Honestly I think even American school lunch was better than what I ate here. I came with high hopes because I had seen their video on social media promoting the place, so I gave it a try. Just straight when you walk in that place was equally as sad as a cemetery. The employees in that place were like the tumbleweed you find in a desert. The menu didn't even look that good tbh. We ordered and we're served on the plates you would take to your family function and with plastic forks and on a lunch tray that looked as if it came from q highschool in like 2001 or something. Food was straight up wack no flavor, soggy tortillas, the refried beans tasted like they came from a can, the lettuce and tomato tasted like they had been put away for like forever. I forced myself to eat that because in this economy money can't just go to waste. But like if I'm being for real American school lunch is much better than this.
