Traditions Restaurant

I really liked this place. It was the first time I've been there and I was impressed. A lot of golf club restaurants feel stuffy and old but this was bright and airy and felt like like just a nice place to hang out! The service was prompt and friendly and the drinks were great and came very quick. The Ceasar salad was delicious, I could tell the use anchovies in the dressing, which I love! My burger was juicy and delicious and my wife's shrimp tacos had big fat perfectly fried shrimp on them. Im not in this area often but I will definitely go back here when I am. Also, I liked the little bendy straws in the drinks, a great experience all around

I had high hopes for Traditions but from the moment I walked in something felt off and unfortunately, that feeling never went away.
We were seated at a booth of our choosing which sounds nice until you notice the booth is filthy. We asked our waitress to wipe it down which she did after finishing with another table. And they use wipes to clean the table and seats so we had to stand and wait for the seat to dry before we could actually sit. Not exactly a warm welcome.

Service was okay overall but I did notice one of the waiters drinking a beverage while on the floor. Could have been a mocktail or juice who knows it still wasn’t a good look.

Then there’s the food. I ordered the blackened mahi sandwich which was not blackened. It was barely grilled, the bottom bun was soggy and flimsy and the fries were just kind of there.

For a place with Traditions in the name I expected something a little more polished. Maybe they’ll get it together but I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

The food here is incredible!! My family and I have been coming here for over 5 years and every time they do not disappoint. My personal favorites are the Mahi Mahi and the cheeseburger, but honestly, every dish here is a 10/10. Also, the servers are all extremely nice and attentive, and the view of the course is beautiful.

We had 24 on the patio during college football playoffs. Lexi & Jacki not only tolerated us but executed our orders flawlessly. Nobody ever had to ask for their next drink and food was delivered perfectly.
