The food was running out, cold, poorly prepared, and at the time of the reservation there was no longer any replenishment. no recommend
This was the worst food ever, the only things that we appreciate where the salad bar, the hot food biggest disappointment, December 31st 8:00 pm This place was a mess the restaurant manger very incompetent, I don't understand why in a busy place like that night, was so bad organized.
Food was mediocre. Tasted bad. We went for our New Year's Eve dinner and expected something special. And we were left very disappointed
We love this restaurant however I was disappointed at their New Years Eve dinner. Food was fine and service was great but I fell for what we paid there should have been more, like more festive items a glass of champagne offered to celebrate the new year other than more food options there was nothing that said Happy New Years!
Excellent food as always but the queues for the cooked food were way too long. By the time you got to carvery the food on the plate had become cold. Too many people for the speed of service, spoilt the night.
We dined at Villa de Flora for the New Year's Eve buffet as a couple with a 10-month-old baby, and overall it was a very positive and memorable experience. We specifically requested a quieter and more relaxed seating area, and the restaurant accommodated us perfectly. The atmosphere was calm enough that our baby was able to sleep peacefully for most of the evening, which made a huge difference for us. While there was no detailed menu released prior to the event — which initially made us hesitate about our choice — the actual food selection exceeded expectations. The variety and quality of the breads, salads, antipasti, main courses, and desserts were outstanding. Everything was well prepared, fresh, and beautifully presented, making the experience truly worthwhile. Even with the restaurant at full capacity due to the holiday, the service at our table was exceptional — attentive, friendly, and well paced throughout the evening. The $95 per person price is clearly justified by the New Year's Eve date rather than the buffet itself, but for this occasion, the overall experience absolutely delivered. We would happily return to Villa de Flora for this buffet again, especially during other times of the year when pricing is more moderate.
We were sat in the back hallway watching servers fight as we were walked by all night. Horribly disappointing.
We were staying at the hotel and didn't want to drive, so we decided to have our last dinner of 2025 here. I confess it was worth every penny; everything was perfect. The food was fresh and high-quality, and the service was excellent. I think that since it was New Year's Eve, they should have decorated more to match the occasion, but overall it was perfect. A note: if you go directly to the restaurant, they'll tell you they're full. But check the OpenTable app and you'll find availability. Happy New Year 2026!
This was our first time here and we were NOT disappointed! The food was really good and there was something for even the pickiest eaters or for those with allergies (like my husband). The ambiance was beautiful and you feel like you're in a little Mediterranean village. It was pretty noisy but you're also kind of in the middle of the hotel. We loved it and the price....we were so surprised at how affordable! We are already planning our next visit and this time with the kids!
One of the best restaurants in the Gaylord because the service is so great everyone is so nice there and food was hot and delicious

DO NOT EAT HERE without reading this! The breakfast buffet is $40/plate and it’s TERRIBLE. We never imagined it would cost this much, so we didn’t ask and it’s not volunteered anywhere. We literally got stuck with a $150 bill after eating virtually nothing because it was so bad. The eggs were wet and dripping. The bacon was like elastic and not chewable. I really cannot express how terrible this place was and then to get that bill at the end was the icing on the cake.

This was an amazing experience!! Lots of food options especially for us with allergy and dietary restrictions. We as a family will definitely dine again! Breakfast and dinner was amazing!!
Lovely dining experience with Ron as server! He made us feel like royalty and the food was delicious and hot. Endless variety, something for everyone!
Great buffet Feel its a little pricey for children but the food is amazing Try the Pasta Bar!
I dined here with my kids on Christmas as I was here overnight and wanted a great dining experience. I was disappointed. The atmosphere is pretty, the advice was good the food was very lack luster. For the price I pre-paid for the dinner- it did not align and measure up to the main entrees offered. It reminded me of a buffet after a church service, not a premium dinner at a major hotel. I will try the breakfast next time to see if that's better, but I will never ever pay for that buffet again. Please do better!
