Ask For John! John is the best waiter they have and very knowledgable about the product and areas. I am a local and can be found here at least once month. They have a nice selection of beers and the food is really good.

This place caught our attention from the road. Soon as we saw the big sign we immediately pulled in to try it out.The experience before you even stepped foot into the building felt like an old 1800s saloon in a dated western town. The decor outside made it that more exciting.Soon as we walked in we were immediately approached by an excellent hostess. There was no wait and the place was not overly loud as you would expect it to be.There were a lot of families with kids, which made it feel more welcoming. The menu was overly congested and laid out simply.The waiter was amazing and super knowledgeable. He never left us without an empty glass and always checked on us within a timely fashion. The food was to die for, some of the best BBQ we've had since we moved from NC.If you are in town for a weekend trip I would highly recommend stopping in for the experience and food.A+++++++

Kid-friendliness: This place was like an old Texas saloon from the 1800s.. kids had a blast and felt like they were in a western movie.

Parking: Parking was a little tight but easily accessible.

Decent BBQ. A few very non-Texas things: every restaurant in Texas has Dr Pepper, never Mr Pib; no self respecting BBQ joint in Texas has chips and salsa, but if they did, they would be free, not $10; all Texas BBQ comes with complimentary sliced white bread. But overall the food was decent, atmosphere was very western, and the service was great. John was great!

We random stopped as we didn’t have any dinner plans and almost passed by. Very glad we didn’t. The brisket and ribs were both very well done. The ribs fell right off the bone. The smoked wings were also good. Coleslaw and baked beans were definite must haves. The key lime pie was good, but the fried cheesecake was amazing! What really made the experience though was our server Eric. Very attentive and made suggestions. He was also very personable. We’ll be making this a regular stop when we’re in the area.

4th visit overall but 1st for a long time. If you want fancy decor and presentation this is not for you. However if you want no frills big tasty burgers and bbq brisket you can cut with a fork, it’s good. Service was quick and food was hot and tasty. They used to to the BEST brownie but sadly no longer on the menu. It’s priced ok vs others. We used our dine-for-less card and got 15% off.

Very decent BBQ joint. Brisket was tasty, but a bit fatty. Pulled pork was spot on. Sides are huge. Warning: Mac and cheese is a bit spicy.Good service, fast too.

We were seated promptly drinks and food delivered promptly also not bad really considering we were a party of 6 food was average and the bill was delivered while we were still eating the place wasn’t overly busy but they seemed to want people out quickly

This was an awesome place to grab dinner. The food was amazing as was the service. The other nice thing about this restaurant, was how quickly the food came out! I will definitely recommend and will be back the next time I'm down this way!

Everything was really overpriced and the food was not even good. The restaurant was dirty, trash all over the floors and the bathrooms were filthy. There was trash all around outside of the restaurant as well. The food was cold and not good. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It’s a waste of money.

This place is amazing we had some Badass BBQ and other food. People here are awesome as hell. Every time we go we ask for John this man is simply amazing. Never in my life have i had an older person as a server and be fun, energetic and so awesome with all of us. My son is autistic and john always pays close attention to him, while still keeping everyone satisfied. We will never allow anyone but john to serve us. We love this man and always ask if he can just sit with us as well. This has become our favorite BBQ spot period.

seated straight away - party of 11. We paid this restaurant 2 visits during our 2 week vacation and were very happy on both occasions Rib / steak combo was really nice but all the burgers and steaks looked great! my wife and daughters favorite was the 1/2 chicken dish which looked really good the only disappointment was the fact i ordered extra onion rings and then could not finish them.. my fault not the restaurant!!

Very happy with the service, it was not busy at all when we were there, brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, kids cheeseburger were really good, but the kids chicken strips... The breading was OK, but the meat was hard. Other than that the place was clean and everyone we encountered was very nice. Would recommend.

The food in WildSide Texas BBQ was amazing. I was in town for a family vacation and we were craving some BBQ and Texas style food.The location is big and there were no wait times to get ourselves seated. The host greeted us kindly and walkes us over to our table.Our server came over and gave us all the top choices available on the menu and showed us the top menu choices for kids as well. There was a huge selection to pivk from and the menu was fairly priced.Music was great as they had a variety of different classics on the mix.
