Seems like things are slipping in the restaurant since a year ago. The service is attentive and speedy, it is the food that lacks the quality of the past. The seared tuna was not seared, no crust and was sent back to the kitchen as it was over cooked. The asparagus was limp and the fries were cold. The presentation of the food was uninspired. How

This place will not last. Have you ever been to a restaurant with high expectations only to be as disappointed as we were? You wouldn’t go back, right? Maybe they were having an off day but my wahoo was so dry that it was almost inedible, in fact, I couldn't finish it. If there was a sauce on it, I didn’t see any. I asked for salt just to give this tasteless dish some flavor but never got any. My 2 companions had mixed opinions of their orders. One had salmon accompanied by 2 tiny thin pieces of carrot with a few asparagus. You would have thought there’d have been a portion of rice but no, so I gave him mine. And, since I had so little to eat, my other companion gave me one of his shrimps. Save yourself the disappointment and don’t go there.

Really enjoyed my dinner and brunch here. I highly recommend the Crab Cakes Benedict, and blackened grouper. Will definitely go back when I visit, again. 😋

Nice little spot on the square in the villages. The food was top shelf as was the service Nikki provided and efficient and pleasant service and is a credit to the establishment. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Took an hour from ordering to receive food. Food was lukewarm with small portions compared to the price i.e. five sandy mussels for ~$15. Food was poor quality (please refer to sandy mussels) and bland. Overall not worth the price or time spent waiting for mid food and poor service.

Fabulous seafood. Try the platter if you've not been here before and you're very hungry. Excellent location and customer service.

Parking: Parking very limited right at Spanish Springs Town Square, especially on holidays, special event days and when the Square is busy from 5 to 9 pm and definitely when the musicians playing are popular. Focus on parking behind the restaurant location. If you find restaurant you can most likely find parking behind facility or along adjacent streets with limited parking.

Kid-friendliness: It's definitely for adults and can get busy and noisy so might not be best for your very little ones, however the staff and community will welcome you with open arms.

I visited Coastal Del Mar in Spanish Springs several times, and one my favorites is the calamari as it is delicious, and cooked to perfection. The service is always attentive and the restaurant atmosphere is nice outside with Spanish Springs views and inside white table cloth dining is perfect for a relaxed dinner. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service.
I will return.

Disappointed experience! Went made reservations for our Anniversary. We arrived 10 minutes early so we realized we would have to wait for a short time. We were told that we would receive a text message at our reservation time. We waited patiently inside the front of the restaurant. Many people came in and were seated immediately. We were not the only customers waiting for our table after making a reservations. After waiting 20 minutes after our reservation time, we approached the hostess she indicated our table was not ready but we could get a high top table which was in the bar, so we took it. The restaurant did not recognize our anniversary as we indicated on our reservations. Our server was a sweet girl and you could tell she was working hard, but she was spread very thin. She did not seem like she could be attentive to her tables because of working inside and outside. The food was mediocre. Sure did not stand up to the price. I am not an expert on restaurants but it appeared to me that the restaurant was missed managed. The servers were spread inside and out far apart from their tables, which doesn’t make sense at all. We have been to all of the FMK restaurants and this one didn’t perform as well as the others. Most likely we will not return.
