“We tried, for the first time, the Lady Lake location today for lunch. It was fantastic! The service from the moment you walked through the door till you left was well beyond what I expected. The price of their food was great and the portions were large. It was super fresh and we found that when the crew lead came to our table asking us if we’d like a free sample of pulled pork, that it was smoked 14 hours the night before. That pork melted in your mouth! The flavor was really great and the different flavors of bbq sauce were impressive. The French fries are hand cut and fresh. They were delicious. They even gave us a free blueberry cobbler for being first timers and that was amazing! While there, the crew lead asked for everyone’s attention. He mentioned that there were two vets dining that afternoon who both were going to be 100 years old this year!! The outpouring of support, claps and cheer for these man who served was amazing! The crew lead thanked them and all those others for their service, shook their hands and you could feel the thankfulness in the room. What a great experience to have. Between the great food, amazing service and the true honor they show to those who served this beautiful county, they are a restaurant to visit time and time again! We’ll be back!”

“Chicken fingers were a 5 star plus, Fries....nah. They were served lukewarm/cold. This was our first time here. Staff were super friendly and it was nice and clean. Since you order at the counter and bus your own table, it doesn't seem appropriate to ask for a tip, but they do. Chicken was good enough to give this another try. We both had the 3 piece tender meal.”

“Our first time dining here. Excellent experience. My husband and I were greeted by Teresa who also prepared our sandwich. She was most helpful in sharing with me first just what the size of the sandwich would be so I could choose to order just one to split as it was a more than ample size for my husband and me. Keyla took my order and was also most helpful in answering several questions I had regarding placing a Christmas pre-order. Both Teresa and Keyla made our first time at Honey Baked Hams a joy, even taking time at the end of their day to have friendly conversation with us.”

“I have visited here a few times now, and the service is consistently excellent. I have had Chinese food in Hong Kong and Malaysia, so it is not fair to compare The Villages with those two countries.

I still need to visit more Chinese restaurants in Central Florida, but this one will definitely be hard to beat.”

“We have been going to Perkins for Thanksgiving for the past 15 years, Love the food, good service and prices. However, This year we were very disappointed that the pie did not come with the purchase of the turkey dinner. It has been added to your meal, not this year. so sad.. Love your pies, but when you get used to something so good, then it's good, kind of loses it for ya...bring the pie back please!!!!!”

Eggs (over medium) cooked perfectly, buttery grits, and the sausage patty had excellent flavor. “I called 3 other Subways and none answered. I called this location and was met with the most pleasant employee. So polite and well mannered. He confirmed he could name 2 dozen cookies fresh on the spot for me to pickup immediately. He also shared with me how to order on the app next time and bundle my order to save money because I added each cookie individually to my order. (My mistake) When I arrived, my fresh cookie were all baked and ready for pickup. I just want to highlight the small things and the good in our service employees because we often only hear the bad.”

“After reading reviews at a different site I didn't have high hopes for McCall's, but I was pleasantly surprised by everything. I was there to watch the Chicago Bears game. It was great to see the game on all the screens with plenty of volume to hear the commentators. Kelly, our server was terrific. Very attentive. The recommended Patty Melt was very good. The mashed potatoes with gravy and cole slaw were also good. It was fresh, hot and served quickly. This was a great place to watch the game.”
