“Have eaten many times over last 2.5 years and it’s always been good food and very friendly service. Today was no different. Try the Smokehouse Burger — it’s the best burger in The Villages! Have ordered three times now and very consistent quality.”

“Been waiting for a special occasion to try Prima. We went for my birthday and it is much better than we expected. Most of the restaurants in the area are all the same just different names. Service was spot on from our reservation experience all the way to the waiter shaking our hands on the way out. Mario actually takes ownership in his job. Mario made some excellent recommendations, all were spot on. Our food from the appetizer to the Prosecco after dinner was amazing. We will be returning to dine on the patio on a warmer night.”

However, EVERY TIME we order them we are brought the fajita meat first and no tortillas or sides. Today we sat there for 15 minutes waiting for the rest of our stuff to make our fajitas.This place is sooooo good. We’ve tried so many dishes and never had a bad one!! Just need the fajita service to change a little so we aren’t eating cold fajita meat. ?”

“The highlight of any visit to Harvest is simply walking in the door. You'll almost always be greeted by the smiling face of Jan who is ALWAYS ready to verbally spare. Being half Irish myself and 'slightly' full of the Craic, starting the evening out talking to Jan is a highlight and great way to kick off another fun evening. Harvest's success really comes down to the team AND their management. Eric Natera always personally makes sure every detail meets your satisfaction. We were just there last Friday night with some out of town guests from up north and were blessed with a fabulous outdoor table and a tremendous meal. Our server Leslie was awesome. “My First winter in the Villages, and l went into Starbucks, for a small coffee black, l don't have a Starbucks app., Mary, the "Barista", said l could get 25-points, and also said if l had my own cup, she could fill and l would get 10-cent credit. The coffee stayed hot, also ,warming my hands last night.The whole team was very friendly, it was the end of the day!! When we return to "Sumpter Landing" music, I'm definitely returning for coffee.”

“City fire is an absolute must visit. Our favorite city fire is the one in sumpter landing.... you have to get the SIZZLE CHIPS, they are to die for. They are kettle chips served on a HOT SKILLET then covered with crumbled blue cheese and caso added and smothered on top.... OH MY WHAT A TREAT!!”

Last night we had the special Mac n cheese which was amazing! We also had Alejandro for a waiter last night and he was by far the best server we have ever had!! The way he described the food made you want to try something you've never had. Also, his personality was amazing!! He enhanced the entire dining experience. definitely try to get Alejandro as your server if you go there!!”

“We took a group of 24 here on Saturday night before Easter Sunday. We were given a room to ourselves. Even though they were busy, and Sawgrass Grove was busy, we had great service at McGrady‘s. It’s impossible for me to list what 24 people had to eat, but I can say all plates were empty when we finished. My only complaint and most of our party, was that the music is piped into the room. The music from the band playing in Sawgrass Grove. So it made it a challenge to have conversation at some points. However, when I mentioned that to the manager at the end, he told me it didn’t have to be piped in. Evidently they can turn it off. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. We had made a reservation. And we did get to our tables at the time of our reservation.”

“A quick shout out to Dave, the manager at Tierra Del Sol. Dave is what I wish all restaurant/ bar managers could be. He is courteous to Customers and Staff and expertly handles challenges as they arise. He is accommodating to requests and quick to take action when needed. I hope that upper management is aware of the contribution Dave makes towards the continued customer satisfaction at this establishment. While I would hate to see him go I can’t help but recommend that Dave train and mentor other managers in similar roles.”

“Terrific surprise! Ordered dinner twice from China Chef. Food was very enjoyable. Portions were enormous. It used to be that the ONLY reliable flavorful Chinese restaurant in or near The Villages was Yummy House in Ocala. China Chef may indeed change that.”

“The delivery person must have been a ninja because they didn't announce that they left the bag at our door. We had the inner door open and didn't even hear them put it down. It had been sitting out there for at least 20 minutes. The food was good although the crab Rangoon barely had any filling.”

“Found my spot. Been living here 3 yrs and craving good Chinese food. So glad I tried them. Was so tired of eating Chinese food that taste like Spanish food SMH. “Finally found a good frozen yogurt place not far from us. They have a lot of flavor choices. The day we went they had Gelato, Frozen Yogurt and Dole Whip Flavors - such as Strawberry, Raspberry, Peanut Butter, Mint Cookie, Chocolate, Vanilla (non-fat), Vanilla (not-fat, low sugar), Pistachio, Butter Pecan, etc. They have a several non-dairy options. They offer one cup size - you take your cup and then fill it with whatever flavors you want, then you swing by the toppings area and load up on whatever toppings you desire. Finally, you plop it on the scale and pay and grab your spoon. They also have a rewards club that gets you some points and discounts ($3 off if you join but you have to accept text messages on your phone). They other thing to remember is Thursdays are Non-Weigh Thursdays, so you get a cup when you go in, (think they're smaller for that day) and can fill it up and load up toppings for a flat $4.50. We're definitely going to try that. Plenty of seating, pleasant environment. The staff wasn't overly friendly - didn't welcome people in when they came in, didn't ask if we were new to them or tell us about the rewards program, etc. I asked questions about how often they rotate flavors, since they show a ton online and we'd like to try other ones eventually, and my answer was basically "no set time or rotation - just happens when it happens". So I guess we'll just have to figure that out as we go. I also wish they had a local Facebook page or Instagram Page they listed current flavors. But overall, the yogurt was great, toppings yummy and a large variety, so we'll be back.”

“A group of us ladies - The Cool Pool Hoppers went swimming at The First Responder Pool yesterday and decided to go to your Restaurant for a late lunch! We were certainly not disappointed! As soon as we came in we were greeted with smiles and seated promptly! Even the customers smiled and said hello! Our server immediately came to our table to get us drinks and menus and we laughed and joked with her! I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but I got her picture! Our meals , everyone of them were delicious! “Have been there several times and have always had great service but today our service was almost nonexistent. Didn’t get everything I ordered, told them and still never received it. Never refilled drinks even after we asked. But the food we received was very good!”

“We took a group of 24 here on Saturday night before Easter Sunday. We were given a room to ourselves. Even though they were busy, and Sawgrass Grove was busy, we had great service at McGrady‘s. It’s impossible for me to list what 24 people had to eat, but I can say all plates were empty when we finished. My only complaint and most of our party, was that the music is piped into the room. The music from the band playing in Sawgrass Grove. So it made it a challenge to have conversation at some points. However, when I mentioned that to the manager at the end, he told me it didn’t have to be piped in. Evidently they can turn it off. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. We had made a reservation. And we did get to our tables at the time of our reservation.”

“Lighthouse's gig is to emulate a New England chowder house. It does a great job of it. Overlooking Lake Sumter, this restaurant specializes in seafood; scallops, shrimp, mollusks, crab, lobster, and fish. This was my second visit, and I had the Fish & Chips lunch special for $6.99. Very tender fish, perfectly crusted, with just enough fries. Some places overdo the fries and you end up leaving the place feeling bloated because you keep picking on them til they're gone. Lighthouse wants you to leave full, not bloated, and they do it well. My only criticism about the dish was the tartar sauce. It's Ken's brand, comes in a single-serve pack that you have to peel the top off. They should make their own.The service was very good, polite, cheerful, with a much better "sense of urgency" than you see in similar restaurants in the area.My first visit was several months ago, and the littleneck steamers were delicious. I wish the prices were lower for their dinner menu; if they raised the lunch specials by $2 per plate, they could probably get away with taking a couple of their regular dinner menu items and reducing the price of them a couple days a week on an alternating basis. Unfortunately, this is typical of The Villages, where good food is priced as if it was gourmet food. Lighthouse is good food. It's not foodie food. I'm glad for that, I like just good old fashioned New England chowder house food, and miss it like crazy down in The Villages. But at these prices, it's going to be only 2-3 times a year treat for anything other than the lunch special fish and chips, rather than the once a month whole-belly clams up north.”

“Went and celebrated my work promotion with my wife and I , had Brittany as our server. She was very quick with her service keeping the customers happy, kept our drinks filled, the works.Would also like to commend Brittany for dealing with a very nasty, and rude customer sitting crossed the way from my wife and I, very well. Customer was really nasty from the start then demanded the manager and tried to lie on Brittany, the wife and I told the manager he was lying Brittany did absolutely nothing wrong. She was very polite the whole time. We think she deserves ? a raise !!!”

“We found this place by accident. It is quite a drive for us, but boy, is it worth it. I love how the tacos are not greasy. Crispy to the last bite. Taco salad is a taste bud treat. I love the chips and salsa! The only minus, the music is just a bit too loud. I will be back.”
