The Flying Biscuit Cafe Reviews
I used to love the flying biscuit. Today, waited an hour and no biscuits. No biscuits, bad attitude and poor services adds up to I am not going back. Darrell’s Diner here we come.
We use to love Flying Biscuit but after our meal today we will not return. The eggs were hard and burnt. The chicken sausage was not even edible and the biscuits were hard and crunchy. We informed the waitress the food was not edible and she was extremely understanding and stated they had staff changes and since the new staff came on the food has gone downhill. She said it was her last day working there and everyone was complaining about the food.
It was a huge disappointment...read full review

The Flying Biscuit Cafe offers a pleasant dining experience with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The menu features a variety of breakfast options, including poached eggs, bacon, hash, waffles, and their famous creamy grits. Customers often praise the food, especially the waffles and breakfast tacos, and appreciate the attentive service. The biscuits are a standout, though some feel they could be cooked a bit longer. Many enjoy sitting at the counter because staff members like Lisa D always acknowledge them and provide great service, especially when the owner is cooking, making the experience even better. The food is generally well-liked, with some mentioning that the chorizo hash could use fewer potatoes and more evenly cooked ingredients. Some reviews note that the food can sometimes be bland, and the biscuit gravy may have a weird taste for certain diners. While occasionally there are long wait times to be seated, guests find the service to be very attentive once seated. The syrup served with waffles is often described as flavorless, which can affect the overall experience. Overall, it remains a popular spot for breakfast, especially for travelers and repeat visitors who appreciate the friendly atmosphere and high-quality food.
